Pros:

We had a hiccup upon checking in at the room but the team assisted us immediately and really tried their best to solve the matter. In the end, we had to switch rooms which helped us enjoyed our stay. A mini fridge in the room would have been a nice touch (not all units have fridge).

Chambre propre, situé proche de tous parking à prix raisonnable

Cons:

La chambre donne sur la rue principal qui est extrêmement bruyant les vitre sont des simple vitrage nous avons l’impression que les vitre sont ouverte , il y a l’air d’avoir un beau rooftop toit terrasse mais et malheureusement nous avons pas pu en profiter car il y avais un évènement priver le prix étais excessivement cher pour ne pas avoir accès au toit terrasse.

The freehand was comfortable and convenient for my trip necessities.

I think the location is just unfortunately in a sketchy area of downtown Los Angeles, which is no fault of the hotel.

Pros:

Tenía gel y shampoo y el trato y la habitación súper bien.

Cons:

La cortina de la ducha no llegaba hasta el suelo y cuando te duchabas se inundaba el suelo. Además 66€ por un día de parking es carísimo, nosotros lo dejamos en uno que estaba a 10 min caminando y vale 20$

Pros:

スタッフは、客の意向を良く聞いてくれた。2段ベットは、しっかりした作りで、すごしやすかった。　部屋の掃除も毎日行っていて、シャワー、トイレ等も綺麗に管理されていた。
近くにWHOL　EFOODS　MARKETが有り、食料調達も苦にならない。
地下鉄の駅からもさほど離れて無く、次にロサンゼルスを訪れる際に又宿泊したい。

Cons:

冷蔵庫、調理が出来るキッチン等はないが、特に問題は無かった。　特にない。

Comfortable King Room in DTLA (Minor Amenities to Improve)
Pros:

Had a wonderful stay at Freehand LA!
We were on Level 5 in Room 505 (King Room), which offered great street views. The bed was super comfortable, and house-keeping was top-notch—staff cleaned the room, changed the bedding, and provided fresh towels daily.

​The location is ideal for getting around. It is an easy 10-minute walk to 7th Street/Metro Center station, which connects you directly to Hollywood Blvd, Santa Monica Beach, and Universal Studios without any line transfers.

For everyday groceries and essentials, Target and 7-Eleven on Figueroa Street are just a 15-minute walk away (skip the nearby Whole Foods Market if you need basic household essentials, as their selection for everyday basics is quite limited).

​The rooftop pool was a highlight—cozy, comfortable, and maintained at a single depth of 3½ feet throughout. It’s open from sunrise to sunset, making it a perfect spot to relax before or after exploring the city.

Would definitely stay here again!

Things That Could Be Improved:

​The mini-fridge in the room was not working and failed to keep anything cold.

​There was no microwave or kettle, which would have been a great addition for guests wanting to make tea or instant coffee.

​These were minimal negatives overall, and we would definitely stay here again!
