Pros:

Everything was convenient to other businesses. We were traveling with 2 cats and they were welcomed. Friendly staff. Location and easy on and off main road.

Cons:

There was a little road construction going on around there. I'm sure that's done by now.

A great place to rest up after a long day in airports.
Pros:

La Quinta Amarillo is so convenient by the airport. I stay there either coming or going when I fly to visit my sister in Clayton, NM.
Living on the coast of Oregon, I sometimes have to take two or even three planes to get there. Staying and resting for a night before I drive out is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful with directions. They have a great snack bar if I have skipped dinner. Plus they have ESPN! I got to watch a day of the NFL draft.
Everything is clean and comfortable and I love the abstract art decor.
I will stay there again, definitely.

Look elsewhere if you have Wyndham Diamond status.
Pros:

In general, the property is fine, but if you have status with Wyndham, look elsewhere. I will. There are a couple of front desk clerks named Amanda that follow Wyndham's corporate policy on this, but there's a guy there on the weekends that acts like he has no idea that Wyndham even exists.

Pros:

booked my reservation online then when i arrived they said they didnt have any rooms available. So irritating after driving 16 hours, the whole time you’re thinking you have a room to be able to rest but no, they don’t care at all, just a bunch of sorries.

Worst hotel experience
Pros:

After driving a ten hour day I checked in and found the door open.
The door was warped so it was difficult to close.
Next to the entry there was a light switch that was hanging from the wall, wires exposed.
The tub/shower had a strange covering that was warped and I ended up not even taking a shower because of it.
The only positive thing I could say is that the staff was very friendly.

Fraudulent charges on my credit card
Pros:

Checked my credit card, this hotel charge me 800.00 two rooms for one night. Tried calling the hotel but no one answer. Did not give me a receipt, but was told it will be emailed. Filing a fraudulent claim with my credit card company. This is not ok.

Pros:

Breakfast was good, new revamp lobby area very nice with a lot of seating.

Cons:

The room was very small, you could tell it was old room with fresh paint but the tiles were old and dirty grout and the pillows were awful not enough light in the bathroom.

Our go to place for an overnight stay in Amarillo
Pros:

Exceptionally nice staff! We left a set of AirPods and they called us to let us know they were holding them for us. Who does that? So kind!
