Pros:

Large refrigerator. Pet friendly.

Cons:

Pet fee was a surprise. I don’t believe that they charged this before. Albeit it is low compared to others. I don’t know why that the fees on booking sites for pets is always a secret.

Delightful stay. Staff went out of their way to satisfy the guests.
Pros:

Breakfast was fresh with plenty of choices. Most outstanding were the beautiful sitting areas at the rear of the hotel. Staff was exceptionally excellent. Beds were beautifully made up and room was tastefully decorated,

Cons:

Shower in the handicap room needs to have lower, reachable shower head and also a shelf to put soap and shampoo on. Towel quality could be upgraded to match the quality of the rest of the room.

Really like the king suite, lobby and breakfast dining. Great value!
Pros:

Location off the main highway. Nice suite with quality furniture and small kitchen. Nice blackout curtains.

Cons:

Need move glassware and bowls. No paper towels or habd towels or dish cleaning scrubbers.

Absolutely The Best in the Area
Pros:

Absolutely the best place to stay in flat rock and possibly the entire area. These folks are so good at service, the rooms are impeccable, clean and you can tell they care about their customers. We love this place because you get that special attention that you don’t get most places. To The Lodge owners – thank you for the great place, the great service, the fair price, and making us feel welcomed.
