We stayed five nights in the Il Massaro Suite, which we got upgraded to for free because we were on our honeymoon. Such a lovely gesture. The suite was very charming, with a big private patio, living room with kitchen area, bedroom and a modern bathroom. The service was amazing from start to finish - the staff were doing everything they could to make sure we had a great time. We got a lovely welcome dinner the first night when we arrived, which was delicious. We didn’t have dinner there again because we were exploring nearby cities and also wanted to do some cooking ourselves and eat on the patio. The breakfast was also very good. From the hotel it’s just a short walk (about 8 minutes) to Baia dei Turchi - the most spectacular beach we have ever seen in Europe. Fine sand like powder and turquoise crystal clear water. The hotel have bikes you can use for free, and we went for a idyllic bike ride with them to see some nearby grottos. They also have a very nice pool, but we ended up going to the beach everyday since it was so lovely. We want to give the hotel our best recommendations.

My wife and I stayed for four wonderful days at Masseria Mongiò. After spending 5 days travelling through Puglia, this was a very welcome oasis of calm and rest. The welcome from Valentina, Ivan and the team was very warm and they were always available to help with any query. Clean, comfortable and well kitted out, with a beautiful new pool area, and only a few minutes walk to the scenic sandy beach. And the excellent food menu for both lunch and dinner was presented every morning at breakfast allowing a decision to be made whether to stay onsite or not. Full of local treats.

Delightful property set among farms and vineyards-our room had a private entrance and looked out over grape vines - the view was spectacular . Bikes are available to ride around the area and it is a short walk through the woods to the beach- rocky, not sandy but gorgeous. There is a sandy beach about a mile down the road .

What a lovely stay- we had a large room with a private entrance that looked out over a beautiful vinyard- so quiet and private. The room came equipped with everything needed to cook a meal, plus a very handy outside drying rack for wet bathing suits. Breakfast was delicious and varied , the staff is so friendly and nice and the grounds are beautiful .
Nice pool and a short walk to the beach -
not a sandy one - very rocky but a sandy one is a few miles down the road. Dinner was also well prepared and delish with all local ingredients and traditional dishes . We had a great time and highly recommend.

This masseria is a great experience very well located just a short distance outside Otranto. The grounds are beautiful and it is a short interesting walk to the beach at Baia d'Turchi. Breakfast every morning served outside on the patio, eggs made to order and fresh fruit and pastries. Friendly and helpful staff make this a wonderful experience. The rooms are large and have a private patio/sitting area with table and chairs. There is also a small stove and refrigerator in the units so you can cook if you desire. Overall a great stay.

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful Masseria. The room was perfect, bed large and comfortable. Breakfast amazing, excellent dinner with extraordinary menu's but most of all the staff was the best. Grazie mille!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful masseria. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sea every day without needing to drive. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations and anything we needed during our stay.

The breakfasts were delicious and fresh every morning, and the dinners featured local flavors. One of our favorite parts was having bikes available on site, which made for a beautiful and relaxing ride into Otranto.

The masseria is also ideally located close to Otranto, where you can enjoy plenty of shops, restaurants, and the lively atmosphere of the town while still returning to the peace and quiet of the masseria. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Puglia.
