Stay was okay but could be as per expectation.
Pros:

Staff were good except the beard man who signed us in who had no smile and very non cooperative.

Cons:

There was no complimentary water bottles in the room. Each time I had to go downstairs to grab water. I showed them and told them room no for appropriate charges regardless they charged or not. There was no prices shown next to products by the side of the receiption area.
It was not big enough for 3 adults. I had to send my son to another hotel.

Horrible
Pros:

The hotel is very far from the airport. Also, the carpets are very old smelly and nasty. The only thing that was nice was the downstairs reception and I think his name is usman he was the best everyone else horrib this hotel doesn’t have breakfast. You can’t even have breakfast even though we paid for breakfast.

Cons:

Carpet are old not worth it for 300 a night

They were unhelpful and were ready to turn me away and not honor my booking.
Pros:

The room was comfortable

Cons:

They did not have my Booking.com reservation and were unhelpful in finding me a room. They told me that they were full and could not help me, I waited an hour before being allowed to rebook. Then they couldn't get me a room key because their key maker was broken.

Next time I know to call first.
Cons:

My reservation was for two beds and a sleeper couch, I got a king bed and a chair. We are three people. The front desk said they would give me another king room but I was traveling with two minors and couldn’t do that. One child was able to sleep in a friends room since we were there for a dance competition. I was told I would be compensated on my bill, never happened. Many people had their reservations messed up that night.

The Marriott, Fresh Meadows is convenient to NYC and Long Island. It is a new, clean and safe.
Pros:

It was very nice to stay in a rather new hotel, located central to my travel requirements. I paid for breakfast at the cafe on the main level. The woman at the counter was lovely and quite friendly, as was the gentleman at the front desk when I checked in. I am grateful that the cafe was there, but I guess I've been spoiled over the years with 'breakfast included" options. I am glad I had a clean, safe place to stay.

Cons:

I spent more than I wanted to - in order to attend a family funeral, on valet parking, tips and breakfast, but I understand that NY pricing is a fact of life.

All and all not bad for an over night stay
Cons:

Did not like the free breakfast sandwich and Starbucks coffee.
Did like that I had to pay for parking. Was not on the third party web site.
