Hannah, Bling and Flora were the friendliest and most helpful staff team that I have ever come across at a hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and the stay was amazing value for money.
It's a small hotel, just 12 rooms, so very little disturbance from other rooms and everything was clean and lovely. Good air conditioning which was quiet at night and the bathroom/shower room was clean and good. One small consideration is that there is loud live music outside on some evenings (Friday or Saturday) but it stopped by 11pm. Generally, a quiet place, despite being in the lovely Old Quarter and right in the midst of good shops and restaurants.
The pool (and breakfast if you want it) is at the Solis (sister hotel) which is a short walk away. It's a lovely roof-top pool with a sky-bar.
I felt like this was home, as I stayed for two weeks while my son was in hospital in Hanoi.
Staff were friendly
Location
The only thing was no pool
L’emplacement était vraiment très très bien
Thank Bling ans Hana
Amazing location. So close to walk to many places like the Note Cafe, Train St and Beer St
The staff were so helpful and friendly, and we were able to shower there after check out, before our sleeper train. There was an elevator which was useful!
Rooms were a bit dated compared to the photos, and the swimming pool is at another hotel.
The location was great. The staff were very wonderful and great. It was a keypad entry which was helpful as the aircon stayed on all the time so when you came back it was lovely and cool.
The service and the location . And tge breakfast
Staff was very friendly, but mainly tried to sell extra activities and stuff
This hotel was the biggest disappointment during our 3,5 weeks Vietnam trip. It Looks much nicer in the pictures than in reality. It looks like a big hotel, but it’s actually tiny with just 2 rooms per floor. There is NO pool, which was one of the main reasons we picked this hotel and there is also no spa. There is a weird smell throughout the building and in the room. I arrived alone around midnight and when I came to the room the door was left ajar, aswell as the balcony door which made me feel unsafe as a solo female traveller. There were some blood stains on the pillowcase.
Overall the value for money does not match at all.
The staff were very helpful and on one occasion Hanna turned up for work and had to show us where to go to catch the tour bus as pick up had changed that morning
The bathrooms were the cleanest I've seen in Vietnam.
Needed to ring a bell and wait to get in after midnight
The location and staff were amazing
The rooms advertised looked bigger than what they actually were. Bathrooms a little tired - a shame breakfast Waa not available still at hotel
L'emplacement au cœur du vieux Hanoï et pas bruyant même avec la vue sur le haut du lac
Que la piscine ne soit pas dans l'établissement, cela ne permet pas facilement la petite détente au retour de la journée de visite et avant le repas
Very central Hotel and Friendly staff.
Hotel does not have a pool or spa within the same building. It is located in another hotel 5 min. away which was not clear previously. Installations are old and not reflecting very much the pictures shown.
Small hotel in a great location. Was super impressed by the staff who were kind and generous.
Nothing not to like. The facilities were a little tired, but this didn't have any affect on our enjoyment.
