Sant Jaume Design Hotel

The hotel is very clean, boutique concept. The service is outstanding, the staff are willing to answer any questions.
They even provide you a map and show you how to get to key places. They also have a nice list of restaurants they recommend, depending on your preferences. Mark on the front desk was extremely attentive to any of our needs. The rooms are very comfortable and overall a very nice choice while staying in the heart of Palma.

After a wonderful stay at Can Aulí Hotel in Pollença, we were excited to stay at their sister hotel, Sant Jaume, in Palma.

I hadn’t actually realised I’d booked two hotels from the same group when making the reservations, maybe I have a type!

What a wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious, especially considering its location right in the heart of Palma’s Old Town. We loved being within walking distance of all the main sights and, thanks to the heat during our stay, we made full use of the fantastic rooftop pool.

Breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety of options to choose from each morning. The staff really elevated our experience with their warm hospitality and excellent recommendations for places to visit, eat, and drink.

The area felt very safe in the evenings and is surrounded by great bars and restaurants, making it the perfect base for exploring the city.

When we return to Palma, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location on a quiet street just a few steps from everything. Hotel staff we t out of their way to make our stay special. Mark provided concierge advice on dining, sightseeing, and shopping that was excellent. An hour at the pool/spa, which is included, allowed us to refresh ourselves. Great hotel, great staff — will recommend.

We spent a wonderful week here for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is located in the heart of Palma and only a few minutes walk from the center. Also a 40 minute drive to Valldemossa/Deia. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The sauna and pool downstairs are perfect for 2 people and they allow you to reserve it privately for 1 hour.

The highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff. Every single staff member we interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful. They provided us with a list of restaurants and bars (all of the ones we tried were very good). I got sick on our last day of the trip and they asked the chef to make me a special dish off-menu.

Thank you again to Pietra, Christina, Shemir, Alicia, & Mark for making our stay so enjoyable. Truly can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Sant Jaume Palma. The location is superb — right in the heart of Palma with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants just moments away, yet the hotel itself remained peaceful and quiet throughout our stay.
The staff were exceptional; friendly, attentive and always happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the attention to detail throughout the hotel really stood out, from the beautifully designed rooms to the thoughtful touches that made the stay feel extra special.
A perfect place for a relaxing city break and we will most certainly be back!

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut, um die Altstadt zu erkunden. Bei Ankunft gab es gleich ein Willkommensgetränk mit vielen Erklärungen, Ratschlägen und einer Restaurantliste. Maria aus der Rezeption war unheimlich freundlich und wir waren von ihr und ihrer Hilfsbereitschaft begeistert.
Jeden Abend gab es ein Turn down-Service. Auf dem Bett lag ein Päckchen mit verschiedenen Tees. Das hatte ich bisher noch in keinem Hotel.
Toll war auch, dass man den Spa-Bereich für eine Stunde privatisieren konnte. Obwohl es eigentlich zu warm für die Sauna war, haben wir die Auszeit trotzdem genossen.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay at SJDH. It couldn't have been better. Everyone on the staff was so welcoming and friendly. We particularly got to know and liked Maria and Marc at the front desk. One night Marc got us into an impossible to book restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location, staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spotless, spacious and the bed was very comfortable, I would highly recommend!

Outstanding hotel in the heart of Palma. The service was genuinely exceptional: warm, proactive, and effortlessly efficient. From restaurant bookings to a late checkout and even a surprise birthday cake, every request was handled seamlessly. It’s the sort of personalized hospitality that many larger luxury hotels strive for but rarely deliver this consistently.

The location is perfect: central yet quiet, on one of Palma’s most charming streets. The rooftop terrace is a peaceful retreat for sunbathing or a quick dip after exploring the city.

We had a fantastic long weekend and would highly recommend Sant Jaume Design Hotel.
