There were no plants in the room as shown in the picture
Handy to train station and quieter than touristy areas of Kyoto. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean.
It’s a little tired and the hall and staircase weren’t so clean. But had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

The location was not far from Kyoto station and also the subway Toji station, as well as Tofukuji station. We used all three often! It was a comfortable room and bed. We had everything we needed there! Check-in was easy enough with a lockbox code and keys to get inside. Communication was good and we were able to get more pillows when we asked. The laundry was great to have but FYI it does not have a dryer - merely getting rid of most of the moisture so you still have to hang it up. It's a quiet neighbourhood away from all the touristy stuff so we liked that. We would stay here again!
Good location. We got a big discount 1 day before. So the price was ok for what you get.
