Homewood Suites By Hilton New Orleans French Quarter

The location was further from the hustle and bustle (5 mins) which we liked. It can be a bit crowded in the lobby and during breakfast. Rooms are big with couch and a kitchenette decked with fridge, microwave, dishwasher. the furnishing are dated and smells, but the bed was spacious and clean so that’s all that matters!

The best part was Joseph, who was at the front desk when we arrived! he was friendly and helpful and was such a great welcome during our first time in New Orleans. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Free breakfast buffet was great to have! Rooms were super clean and comfortable.

Staff was very helpful with getting checked in, storing luggage for our check out day, and helping navigate around the city with bus routes, Lyft pickups, and general questions regarding the area. Room was very clean and space was exceptional for our time to wind down after a long day walking around the city.

The staff was right on top of things if we had a problem they to care of it fast

Homewood Suites French Quarters is my pick when visiting New Orleans. Concierge Janae was truly a gem…greeted us with a smile each time when asked a question. Loved her personality!

Loved my stay here. Travelled alone for a week and felt safe the entire time. Front doors always monitored by security and hotel keys needed to enter the building and elevators. Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions/suggestions. Breakfast each morning was great. Tried grits for the first time and loved them! Room and lobby were clean. Bed was comfy and room was large. Located on the edge on the French Quarter. Few blocks away from Canal and Bourbon street. Most places less than a 10 min walk away. The pick up location for the Cajun Encounters swamp tour is at this hotel, saving lots of time. For my other tours I was also picked up from the hotel or just a few mins away. I would stay here again if I came back to New Orleans.

Virginia at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and so helpful. The only thing I did not like was, I asked for an accessible room to be close to the elevators and someone told me that it was six doors away from the elevator, which it wasn’t. It was about 30 doors down from the elevator, Virginia was willing to change my room to closer, but we had already unpacked and did everything and I’m partially disabled so I just didn’t wanna do all that work again.

Clean, food was good, it was quiet, great location, affordable.

We booked a one-bedroom suite for 5 nights in May. When we arrived, we were told that that room was not available for our stay. We were put in a small room. We were told that we would be given a $10 per night refund, which was not enough for the inconvenience caused by our room not being available. As it turns out, we are not getting a refund at all. They say it is because we paid in advance, in January, which makes no sense. They did give us points, which is not enough, in my opinion.
That being said, the location was great. The breakfast was very bad. By the third day, I started eating bagel and cream cheese because the egg and meat dishes were inedible. The shower head in our room was very clogged and sprayed water in all directions. It also dripped on the metal plate all night. The ‘courtyard view’ is not really a view at all. Fun time in NOLA, awful hotel.

The bar lol. Staff and location were great. Gas station is to your left go there get all the snack and liquid that you will need for your stay. Bourbon street is literally 3 blocks up.
