The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our Seasonal A’ la Carte menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply for adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu also available.
Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.
Parking is available at £10/night either in the on-site car park or via digital permit parking on Parabola Road. Please inform our team at check-in to register your vehicle in either parking facility. Car parking is subject to availability and cannot be reserved in advance.
When traveling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance.

boiling hot room could not sleep - called down at 3.30am for the reception to change and re set air con centrally- didnt work - set at 27.5 degrees- awful nights sleep
Good location, large and comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and helpful
Bathtub and shower in bedroom. Lights broken and LED strips showing. Complimentary chocolate tasted out of date. Toilet separate and away from sink which was in main bedroom area. Tv station had limited channels. Decor was dated.
The room was very nice and a comfortable bed
The thing that let it down was our evening meal, the menu stated the price of the food but when the bill arrived vat was added to it even though in the small print it said vat was included in all meals, when the duty manager was asked about it he told us it shouldn't say that and that vat was added afterwards. We paid the bill rather than stand arguing about it, this definitely soured our stay and I would recommend anybody eating there to check beforehand regarding vat
Great location very close to town
Our stay was a last minute booking, to break up a long drive up North from Devon so we could stop off for dinner then continue in the morning. We just wanted somewhere inexpensive and close to town that had parking and was pet friendly.
Malmaison came up as meeting all those criteria and was £110 for the night.
Immediately upon arrival we were hit with a bill for extras of £35 ~ £10 for parking the car and £25 for ‘cleaning up after pets’.
Dinner for 2 at the hotel was an extra £140.
Our ‘inexpensive stopover’ ended up costing £285 !!!
