Far Out Inn

The steps going up and down to the beach. The room was very small with no air conditioning. For the amount it cost some renovation and decoration is required. This is a very expensive inn quite far out of town but very bijou.

We boekten een dure kamer ( 300€/nacht ) met ‘ tuinzicht ‘ en ‘ outdoor furniture ‘ . Niets was minder waar . De kamer gaf uit op een drukke luide weg en van een terrasje of balkon was geen sprake. Het hotel heeft een prachtig uitzicht aan de achterzijde . Maar dit is enkel weggelegd voor de receptie en de gasten met ‘ zeezicht ‘. Er is geen enkele gemeenschappelijke ruimte of terras waar je kan zitten of genieten van dit uitzicht.
Ontbijt wordt op de kamer gebracht , maar er is geen deftig ontbijthoekje. Koffie moet je zelf maken.
Het leek wat kamperen in een veel te duur hotel.
De badkamer is extreem rudimentair voorzien van toiletartikelen.
De lift naar de ondergrondse parking mag normaal gezien niet gebruikt worden , enkel op vraag . Het voelde bijna als een gunst .
Ons zien ze hier niet meer terug.

Das Tor zur Tiefgarage ist nicht angeschrieben!! Würde jedem Gast das Finden erleichtern! Unser Zimmer hatte keine AC. Und vor allem: der Ventilator funktionierte nicht! Unser Zimmer befand sich im obersten Stock unter dem Dach - sehr heiss bei 34 Grad Aussentemperatur. Sie brachten trotz Mitteilung nicht fertig, den Ventilator zum Drehen zu bringen. Sollte bei diesem Preis eigentlich drin liegen. Zufahrt zur Tiefgarage ist seeehr abenteuerlich! Zum Glück hatten wir kein so breites Auto! Aber all diese kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten werden durch die Lage und die Sicht auf die Bucht wettgemacht! Es lohnt sich, ein Zimmer mit Terrasse zu nehmen!

Unser Zimmer lag an der Hauptstraße , nachts konnte man die Fenster nicht geöffnet haben…
Frühstück musste im Bett gegessen werden , da kein Platz im Zimmer war….

The building needs updating generally, key to note that there is no air conditioning which I had not realised when booking, there are also no guest areas other than the bedroom. The balcony in the deluxe room is not a balcony, it’s a glass corridor, to make it worse the curtains from the room to the glass corridor don’t fit the windows letting in a lot of light overnight. Breakfast is a nice touch but it’s served in the bedroom where there are no dining facilities. The coffee machine is welcome (as coffee does not come with breakfast), but there is nowhere to put your coffee grounds once used, it’s not clear as to how you should dispose of these. For such a high price point I expected some finishing touches to enhance our experience, there wasn’t any, not even a complimentary bottle of water in the room. All very disappointing. I would not stay again.

Sommige delen waren aan renovatie toe, prijs (ca 250 p/n) die we betaalden was echt voor de locatie en niet voor de kamer.

It wasn’t a problem for us but there are a lot of stairs you will navigate between the beach and hotel! Great exercise!

Frühstück eher bescheiden

Chambre et salle de bains fort petites. Équipement minimum. Petit déjeuner servi en chambre sans table frugal et sans plaisir.
