Our recent stay at this stunning fort-style resort in the desert was really amazing. Traveling with both friends and family, we were looking for a place that offered relaxation, space, and memorable experiences—and this property delivered beautifully on all fronts. The setting itself is breathtaking, with expansive open areas that let you truly soak in the calm, earthy charm of the desert landscape. Despite its serene, tucked-away feel, the resort is conveniently located and easy to reach, which made the journey effortless.
What truly elevated the experience were the thoughtfully curated activities and the warmth of the staff. From trying our hand at archery to unwinding in the infinity pool overlooking the vast surroundings, every moment felt well spent. The simple joys like feeding rabbits and goats were especially delightful for the entire group. The high tea spread was exceptional, both in taste and presentation, and the evening folk singing performance during dinner on the fort’s sixth floor created a truly unforgettable ambiance under the open sky. The staff throughout were courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile
That said, there are a few minor areas where improvements could enhance the overall experience. The recreational room, while promising, was not fully functional during our visit the lights and air conditioning were turned off, and amenities like the table tennis setup and playstations were not operational. With a bit more attention here, this space could become a fantastic addition to the resort’s offerings.

My second visit to Alila Fort Bishangarh was nothing short of exceptional. I came in with high expectations after my first stay, but this time they completely redefined hospitality and set new benchmarks in every aspect. From the seamless check-in experience to the impeccable room quality, every detail reflected excellence and genuine care.

The cleanliness, ambiance, food, comfort, and overall service standards were all elevated to another level. It’s rare to find a hotel that not only maintains consistency but continuously improves and surprises its guests.

This visit truly exceeded all my expectations, and I can confidently say this place has become my first choice whenever I travel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and world-class hospitality.

Had a truly wonderful stay at Alila Fort Bishangarh. The hospitality was exceptional throughout our visit — the restaurant staff, management team, and housekeeping staff were all extremely courteous and cooperative. Special thanks to Santosh ji, Sachin ji, Jairam Yadav ji, our tour guide, and the restaurant manager for making our stay so memorable. Since it was my wife’s birthday, the team went above and beyond with thoughtful complimentary gestures, which made the occasion even more special. We recently stayed at Alila Fort Bishangarh to celebrate our anniversary, along with our 8-year-old daughter—and it turned out to be an absolutely magical experience.

From the moment we checked in, everything felt seamless and thoughtfully curated. We were assigned a dedicated point of contact who took care of every little detail throughout our stay, making us feel truly pampered.

The property itself is stunning, and the overall vibe is pure bliss—peaceful, luxurious, and steeped in heritage. There was plenty to keep our daughter engaged, especially the kids’ play area and the delightful hi-tea experience.

What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The chefs were incredibly attentive, often coming to our table to understand our preferences, explain local cuisines, and even prepare special dishes for our daughter—even if they weren’t part of the regular buffet.

Every moment felt personalized and special. It was an unforgettable anniversary celebration, and we can’t wait to return.

Our experience of the Detoxifying Spa Treatment was supremely good. It was deeply relaxing and our bodies felt light after the massage. The therapists ensured we were comfortable every moment. We also loved the detoxifier (pre drink) and green tea (post drink).

We stayed for one night. They welcomed us very warmly and assigned a POC for all our requirements. The hospitality was really good.

Our stay at Alila Fort Bishangarh was nothing short of exceptional. The property offers a truly one-of-a-kind experience, blending heritage charm with modern luxury in the most seamless way.

The rooms and washrooms are extremely spacious, beautifully designed, and very well maintained, reflecting the grandeur of the fort while ensuring complete comfort.

A special mention to the culinary team—we had a delightful breakfast experience. Ex-Chef Pankaj and Sous Chef Rahul Singh deserve special appreciation for their warm hospitality and dedication. Chef Rahul was constantly on his toes, ensuring we were served fresh, hot food along with authentic local delicacies, making the experience even more memorable.

The entire stay felt different, immersive, and truly experiential—not just a hotel stay, but a journey into heritage luxury.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay. A must-visit property!

Incredibly gorgeous hotel with a thoughtful selection of offerings with world class facilities. The spa is incredibly and hotly was an amazing therapist.

A once in a lifetime experience and without doubt an item that manifested itself onto my bucket list as soon as we approached Bishanghar.

Alila is one of those places you never knew existed and weren't looking for. One of those places you absolutely want and must visit once you discover it exists.

On arrival to the outdoor reception area, the Haveli, we were greeted by local singers and music, made to feel like royalty!

The view of Alila fort is incredible from there as it sits high on the hill and we got to see the grandeur of where we would be staying.

Before I even touch on the facilities, location, history, majesty and beauty, I have to mention the service and the staff.

They are without doubt some of the most attentive, caring, genuinely lovely people you could wish to meet (not just in hospitality).

Their sole purpose may be to ensure you have the best stay but they truly go above and beyond what I would expect from any 5-star luxury hotel, anywhere.

From the moment you arrive, every encounter with them as you move around the fort, Haveli and grounds, within any of the amazing restaurants, during any of the activities and tours, these amazing people are there helping and ensuring you have the best experience.

To name a few who ensured we had without a doubt one of, if not the best experience my family and I have had anywhere we have travelled (we are regular travellers)...

SACHIN - our host for our stay and always available for assistance and any questions. He is brilliant!

SOUVIK - one of the managers at Amarsar restaurant. Brilliant service and each morning would recommend what to try and ensured we started the day right.

SANTHOSH - member of the team at Amarsar. This man is exceptional and ensured we always enjoyed our meals there including 2 amazing evening meals. He is an asset to Alila. Brilliant at what he does, all with a smile and utmost pride.

BABULAL - looked after us during our high tea on one of our tours. Provided excellent service and very attentive.

Location - set atop a hill, the fort is imposing and stunning. The views of the surrounding Aravali Hills is breathtaking. It has been careful made into a hotel ensuring no charm, history or architecture is changed.

Pool - located below the fort, next to the Haveli (outdoor reception). Infinity pool that falls away into forests and trees. Stunning.

Tours - Alila offers an extensive list of unique experiences around Bishanghar, Jaipur and Aravali Hills.

The 2 experiences we enjoyed were "The Forgotten Trail" (a sunset safari in an open top jeep, through fields and a dried riverbed was was one of the BEST experiences ever! This was followed by a private sunset high tea overlooking the fort - STUNNING!)

The other was the "Explore a Royall Legacy" (a day long tour of Jaipur and all it's historic and important landmarks - with a private car, professional tour guide, ample cold water and all entrance tickets included). Incredible day and learnt so much about Jaipur and it's amazing history.

Without a moment's doubt, we left with our hearts filled with joy, minds blown and full of incredible memories created in a truly unique, beautiful place that would be near impossible to match.

We had the pleasure of staying at Alila Fort Bishangarh as part of a destination wedding, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience.

The fort itself is stunning — a perfect blend of heritage architecture and modern luxury — and serves as an exceptional backdrop for wedding celebrations. Hosting a large and diverse group of guests can often be complex, but the team managed everything with remarkable efficiency. From the check-in process to ongoing logistics, everything was handled smoothly and professionally.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a relaxing retreat between events. Each function was held at a different venue within the property — from the courtyard and Nazara to the poolside and lawns — each space adding its own distinct charm. The highlight was undoubtedly the beautifully decorated baori (stepwell), where the wedding ceremony took place — an unforgettable setting.

Despite events running beyond scheduled timelines and often overlapping into the next, the staff worked tirelessly and maintained a high level of service throughout. Their ability to manage long hours with consistency and warmth was truly commendable.

Dining was another positive aspect. Breakfast at Amarsar offered a good variety, and the food served across the various events was enjoyable and well curated.

Overall, Alila Fort Bishangarh stands out as an excellent venue for destination weddings, combining stunning surroundings with strong service and seamless execution. It is a place that creates lasting memories, and one I would highly recommend
