The best place in Victoria
Pros:

This is about the fifth or sixth time I've been to the hotel. I've tried many different rooms. This room faces the main street of Victoria and there's a bathtub inside the room. So far it would be fine if someone enjoys this separately, I personally prefer two sinks in the bathroom and thus more space to get ready for washing. The problem with a room facing the street is the endless noise, so you always have to be with the window closed. I would keep a little more soap in the room because you can ask them to put a small amount in every day, but it's not nearly as convenient. Another constant problem for both Márta and Victoria is the car traffic and the inability to park. Bus traffic is just as difficult. Therefore, if someone arrives by plane and the main island is over an hour away, they either use a taxi or rent a car but can't park because the customers also use the parking garage under the hotel because it's also a shopping mall. I think this is a key problem. Regardless, I will continue to come to this hotel for years to come.

Pleasant hotel - great location
Pros:

Staff really attentive. Gave excellent local advice about where to go and where to eat.
Location really close to bus station, old town and Citadella. As everyone says: should have spent more time on Gozo. We had two nights, should have been four. Buses from Victoria go everywhere on island

Enjoyed the slower pace of Gozo and the ease of getting around without a taxi.
Pros:

Location was perfect for walking to the bus station to go to temples, beaches and saltpans. Great restaurant across the street. (Had dinner there twice) The staff was very helpful at the hotel.

Cons:

Difficult finding the entrance to the hotel as it is in a mall and you have to use the elevator to get to the correct floor. Instructions would have helped.

Great central hotel
Pros:

The relaxed atmosphere and the very helpful staff. Breakfast was really good. Big egg selection cooked on request.
We would defo stay again.
Also a big shout out to Charlon who gave us all the tourist info required and helped get us a hire car when it was proving difficult.

Pros:

First, we were very lucky to be staying at the Duke during the recent power cut in Gozo. The hotel was one of the rare establishments which were not affected on the island and this was much welcome especially with the 40+ degree heat.

Also, despite not having plant-based options available initially for breakfast, the staff went out of their way to get us a several plant-based items every morning (vegan sausages, pancakes, Alpro yogurt, among others). Overall, the service was impeccable, the staff is extremely polite and efficient, and the location is ideal. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
