Pros:

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Hollywood Walk of Fame and many restaurants, shops, and attractions. It was a perfect base for exploring Hollywood and Los Angeles.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. One of the highlights was the beautiful view of the Hollywood Sign from the room. The facilities were well maintained, and everything was clean and in excellent condition.

Cons:

The only thing that would have made the stay even better would be having breakfast included in the rate.

Excellent care for a busy work weekend
Pros:

Everything was excellent for our stay at the kimpton everly. They took great care of us. They have amazing amenities, I rode one of their well-built bikes and drank their great coffee in the morning. The restaurant in the hotel had amazing food. The absolute highlight of my stay was Brandon, the valet attendant. He is kind, attentive thoughtful, and helped us immensely mulitple times over the weekend, I can't say enough great things about him and his service. He had great local suggestions and an amazing outlook on life. He made our stay that much more special. Thank you, Brandon and all the staff!

Great hotel! Excellent valet service!
Pros:

Really nice hotel for an event. Loved the rooftop. Wanted to shout out the valet service, and Alex in particular. They had to deal with so many cars arriving all at once and they hustled. Very easy and fast to get my car at the end of the night. Thank you!

Location was great for exploring different parts of LA, we felt pretty central. Jaw dropping view of the hollywood sign from the bed! Huge shout out to Jess and Adrian at the front desk, from check in to check out they were always so helpful and kind!

Pretty Goof Stay
Pros:

Had a maintenance issue with refrigerator and it was taken care right away. Valet attendant Brandon was wonderful. Front desk agents were nice but were kind of short and no amenities were provided like a water for the fee or being a gold member.

Pros:

We would like to thank the housekeeping team for the orderliness and cleanliness of the hotel. However, we were not satisfied with the overall operation and management of the property.

Cons:

First of all, the central air conditioning vents in the room have accumulated so much dust that it is not only visible but has reached a level that may pose a health risk. Dust particles were coming out of the vents into the room. In addition, the carpet and its color scheme do not make guests feel that they are staying in a clean room. We believe the carpets should be replaced during renovation and upgraded to parquet or other hard flooring surfaces.

We were also disappointed by the bedding arrangement. We could not determine whether this was due to a lack of proper duvet covers or simply a matter of convenience, but it appeared that two sheets had been wrapped around a blanket. This was uncomfortable both from a usability and hygiene perspective. In a hotel of this category, we would have expected a more modern and professional bedding setup.

Regarding breakfast, we paid an additional fee during the reservation process because the room was advertised as including breakfast. Upon arrival, however, we were informed that breakfast operated on an à la carte basis, that guests received a USD 15 credit per room, and that any amount exceeding USD 15 would be charged separately. Since even a coffee on the breakfast menu exceeded USD 15, it is difficult to understand how this can genuinely be described as “breakfast included.” Furthermore, this policy was not clearly disclosed either on the hotel’s website or during the booking process. As a result, we felt misled. We paid extra for a breakfast package but ultimately left without having breakfast. When we raised this concern with the reception staff, we were simply told, “This is our policy.” No effort was made to provide a solution or address our dissatisfaction. The management team appeared indifferent and uninterested in resolving the issue.

Considering today’s technology and guest expectations, access to a shared computer remains an important service for many travelers.

The BEST and my FIRST stay at the Kimpton Everly!! 🥳

Simply Amazing! My husband and I had a bad experience at a neighboring hotel and the Kimpton Everly happened to be around the corner. My husband and I decided to drop by and Becca & Richard at the front desk, we’re sad for our situation and took us a tour of their hotel and room. We did not know what we were missing and so happy we stopped by. They honored the online price and upgraded us for My Birthday since I’m and IHG memeber! 🎉. The hotel is quiet, the foods great, the people are so kind, and the views out to the Hollywood city and sign are to die for! When I come back to visit LA the Kimpton Everly is at the top of my list!! Thank you!!

Tolles Hotel, aber...
Pros:

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, einerseits wegen der Nähe zum Freeway, wodurch man überall schnell hinkam, andrerseits wegen der Nähe zu den Highlights rund um Hollywood. Von unserem Zimmer im 15. Stock hatten wir einen tollen Blick Downtown. Personal war freundlich und das Essen lecker.

Cons:

Obwohl bei booking.com das Frühstück inbegriffen war, erhielt man im Hotel nur gerade $ 50 pro Frühstück für eine 4-köpfige Familie... Da bekommt man in LA bekanntlich nicht gerade für's Geld. Man muss dies ganz klar anders deklarieren!!!

Pros:

Valet service from John & Jake were superb 10/10 never waited more than a few min and easy calling system. Jane Q food was great and breakfast vouchers made it even better. Comfy bed and pillows but the shower could use a deep clean there was some mildew. Overall good location and experience!
