All in all, the staff and the location make it worth staying here whenever I will use Stanstead Airport.
Pros:

The location, price, staff, late check in. It’s good value for money and lands you right in the British countryside and architecture which was a great welcome to the UK.

Cons:

Needs some renovation but the pictures did show the property as it currently is so there was no surprises.

Very convenient little place
Pros:

Convenient central location. Friendly, helpful staff, we were given a fan on a very hot evening. Comfy beds, nice shower, all good.
Car park nearby.

Cons:

This was our second stay so we knew what to expect, but check in is a bit strange, not having anyone on site but calling a number. However, it works, so all is good.

Room comfortable very dated but clean.
Pros:

The proximity to everything

Cons:

It’s a very old building. I wouldn’t want to stay in the winter as the window frames were falling apart with gaps to allow the wind to get in.

Great location for restaurants and pubs in the town. Spacious clean room, comfy bed, TV and tea/coffee. New bathroom, hot shower with good water pressure.

Ideal for early morning departure from Stansted
Pros:

Reasonably priced and convenient location for Stansted airport. Older style rooms a bit worse for wear but fine for a one night transit stop. Room was much bigger than usual. Good heating and plenty of hot water in the shower. Close to shops, restaurants and pubs. Will stop here again if I have an early morning flight from Stansted.

Cons:

You have to contact reception by phone on arrival which would have been difficult for me as I only had an E Sim so no phone. Not a problem though as the receptionist was actually on site and checked me in early. Lighting in the room not the best.

Stayed for early flight
Pros:

Bedding reasonable & location ok

Cons:

Couldn’t shower because the shower bar was obviously broken. The water was so hot & the control would not work to turn it down. The room should not be used. Cracked tiles in bathroom. Paper thin curtains. Outside door left open at night!
