CleN room and comfortable bed
Check in 4km away and $300 bond!!! No phone reception in room..
I'd stayed there before and was impressed. Location is great with easy access to pubs, restaurants, cafes and entertainment. Also very close to two different tramlines for access to the city. Unless I have very specific requirements requiring a different choice, this will be my 'go to' accomodation when I visit Melbourne.

The fact staff were inappropriate and made sexual comments, the reception sent me back and forth to 3 different rooms which had been used by other people and they were dirty sheets hadn't been changed

The shower is fabulous and the size of the one bedroom apartment great.
The light switch for the bathroom is on the bedroom side so if used at night disturbs a sleeping partner. The previous time we stayed, carparking was included, however this time it was $20 per night. I was told by the receptionist that if we booked directly through them, it would have been complimentary. There was only one roll of toilet paper so we purchased our own. After 3 nights, we wanted our room serviced. It was not done, so I called reception and I was told they would get the cleaner onto it. A cleaner brought us towels but said they had been told not to service as it was a Sunday. There was nothing in any information provided to us that stated this. Arriving back on our final night at 8:00pm, our access cards would not unlock the gate - numerous attempts made with both cards. Luckily one worked with the ca entrance.

The bread left for us was incredibly mouldy.
Having to get keys from a second location was not ideal.
Being told last minute that parking was not free as advertised (the reason for picking the hotel) was a kick in the teeth.
The apartment was too small to for luggage for two and still be able to manoeuvre around.
There was no bin or bag available in the kitchenette.
When we arrived someone was scaling the fence which gave us an idea of security and location and made us worry for our safety/ the safety of our things.
We stayed before and liked the facilities and location, so we booked again.
On our second visit, the apartment we were given was not as good, it was smaller and the sofa chairs were really warn out too. We paid a similar price and did not realise we were getting a lower quality apartment.
