Good location for visiting Kippford
Pros:

Breakfast was freshly prepared by Sean and tasty. The room and beds were clean and there was a fan in the wardrobe as well as an iron and board.

Cons:

Staying on the second floor so lots of stairs.
Dinner finished at 8pm so we couldn't get a meal.

Visit to Dalbeattie
Pros:

Friendly staff and spacious ,clean rooms.
We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was very good.
Breakfast was tasty and staff were accommodating with adjustment to the menu and again, staff were friendly.
We would definitely stay again if visiting the area .

Cons:

The twin room was very hot and the fan provided wasn't very effective (summer time).
.The shower unit is in the bedroom (with opaque doors) .This wasn't a problem for us but maybe not for everyone !
The first night I was kept awake by loud music in the bar downstairs (Friday night) but this finished at midnight and the hotel was very quiet following this. Saturday night...same thing but we joined in this time and had fun with the entertainment ! 😆

Brilliant stay, we would stay again when visiting the area.
Pros:

The Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious.
The Evening meal was fantastic, staff where friendly and helpful.
Comfortable beds and everything was spotless in the room.

Cons:

The stair carpet could do with a clean or replacing, a handrail would be good as the stairs are quite steep.

Great but got stuffy night.
Pros:

Great food and beer garden. Sports on the TV and a pool and darts area. Rooms were good.

Cons:

The heat it was a hot room and the provided fan made more noise than actual air movement. The windows couldn't be opened as the river rapids were roaring.
