Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff in a great location. The rooms are nicely finished and have a good calm feel.

Location and cleanliness

My stay was absolutely amazing! This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Luang Prabang, making it easy to walk to the city's charming cafés, restaurants, night market, and popular attractions. The location truly couldn't have been better. I was fortunate to have a room overlooking the pool, and the view from my balcony was beautiful. A special thank you to Sunny and the manager for thoughtfully selecting such a fantastic room for my stay. It made my experience even more enjoyable.

The room was extremely clean and absolutely charming! The entire team was incredibly warm, attentive, and eager to help. They arranged my excursions and airport transfer to their Vientiane location, making the planning process effortless and allowing me to relax and enjoy my trip. They even accommodated a late check-out so I could enjoy Kuang Si Falls. The restaurant staff also provided exceptional service, and every meal was a pleasant experience.

From the outstanding hospitality to the peaceful atmosphere, this hotel made my time in Luang Prabang unforgettable. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an aesthetic, relaxing stay in an ideal location. I definitely look forward to an extended stay!

Some hotels are simply places to sleep. Others become part of the destination. Avani+ Luang Prabang definitely belongs to the latter category.

From the moment I arrived, I had a feeling this stay would be special. Before I had even reached the entrance, the door was opened with a genuinely warm smile. It may seem like a small gesture, but it set the tone for everything that followed. That same warmth continued throughout my stay. From the check-in, to being personally escorted to my beautiful suite, to every interaction with the restaurant, bar, breakfast, housekeeping and reception teams. The hospitality never felt scripted; it felt sincere.

The hotel itself is stunning. Built around beautifully landscaped tropical gardens and an exceptional swimming pool, it offers a peaceful oasis while still being right in the heart of Luang Prabang. Within just a few minutes' walk you can reach the Night Market, the Royal Palace Museum, countless temples, cafés and restaurants. Despite its central location, the hotel feels remarkably calm and secluded.
The pool deserves a special mention. In many city hotels, the pool is simply an amenity. Here, it is a destination in itself. It is unusually large for a boutique hotel, beautifully designed, surrounded by lush greenery and an incredibly relaxing place to spend a few hours during the hottest part of the day. I completely understand why it has received recognition as one of the best hotel pools in Laos.

The gym is modern, well-equipped and more comprehensive than you would normally expect from a hotel of this size. The spa perfectly complements the overall experience, providing the same calm atmosphere and high level of quality found throughout the property.

What impressed me most, however, was how perfectly the hotel reflects the character of Luang Prabang. The architecture, scale, landscaping and overall atmosphere blend seamlessly with the city's unique heritage. It is surprisingly rare to find a hotel that complements its surroundings so naturally. Many luxury hotels could be located almost anywhere in the world; Avani+ feels as though it truly belongs here.

My suite was spacious, elegant and extremely comfortable, with everything one could need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was another highlight, offering an excellent selection of both local and international dishes, all served with genuine warmth and attentiveness.

I have travelled extensively and stayed in many outstanding hotels around the world, I have developed a deep appreciation for what separates a good hotel from a truly memorable one. In my humble opinion, Avani+ Luang Prabang excels in every category. Beautiful design, an unbeatable location, outstanding facilities and, above all, exceptional people. It is that combination that creates experiences guests remember long after they have returned home.

Having stayed here, I can completely understand why Avani+ Luang Prabang has been recognised as one of the finest hotels in Laos. It is not because of one spectacular feature, but because everything. From the design and facilities to the service and atmosphere—comes together so effortlessly.

This was one of the finest hotel experiences I have had in many years, and I would return without hesitation. If you are visiting Luang Prabang, I cannot imagine a better place to stay.

Spacious and quiet rooms with excellent amenities, only a short walk from the famous night market. The staff was incredibly helpful and gave us excellent advice and information about the area. We would definitely return!

Beautiful, meticulously maintained, relaxing hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Excellent breakfasts. Try to get a room overlooking the pool - the balcony is large and has comfortable chairs and sofa.

Absolutely wonderful stay. We really loved everything about it. Location, decor, atmosphere, cleanliness, service and facilities. But most of all the staff made our stay a memorable one. Everyone we encountered was so professional, helpful and super friendly. A special mention to Sunny, Nina and Mek, but the list would be much longer if just I would have noted more names!

I came for a solo ‘thinking’ trip. The hospitality and care was outstanding.

I was there for a short meeting combined with a short holiday. I was a female traveling alone and a visible USA ethnic minority.

The staff was wonderful. In particular, Asri (front desk manager) and Jiayia (in restaurant) were exemplary in ensuring I had a very good stay. Asri & the IT manager rendered quick expert assistance when I needed help to get online for an important meeting. This was cheerfully done - despite this being a task that I should have been able to handle myself as the property has excellent free internet. The entire staff were nice and quickly attended to questions and requests.

The property was modern, stylish, clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location to enjoy Luang Prabang. My room was comfortable. I also had a lovely massage in nice spa.

I really enjoyed my stay at avani plus. There was so much to do in the immediate area. The staff was extremely welcoming. The food for breakfast was great, and it was awesome that they threw in a free dinner. Cocktails were great, and the pool was amazing. I also got a massage while I was there and it was a nice experience.

Quiet, beautiful, elegant, delicious breakfast, great hospitality from every staff in this hotel, very high cost performance. We enjoyed a lot from the free bicycle rental and we could go around the city and stop by wherever looks good. Highly recommended to stay here.

Beautiful hotel located in the city center, close to the night maket and to the morning market with local products and some very interesting food, the most authentic market in Southeast Asia we have seen, must visit!
From busy streets of beautiful Luang Prabang you enter nice and peaciful atrium of the hotel with large pool. The most kind and helpful staff is always there to help make your stay the most pleasent one.
