Had booked a room with 2 single beds but we got 1 double bed. Which is fine, that happens. I requested that be fixed or even just another set of single sheets and doona be sent up and we'll pull apart the beds ourselves. Staff were nice and said they would sort it out. We headed out for 3-4 hours and when we returned it hadn't been done so I enquired again. We got a knock on the door and the cleaner brought sheets without a doona so I said we needed the doona. The cleaner came back with blankets and insisted that he was just a cleaner and didn't know anything about doonas and that the blankets would do fine. My brother then requested with the staff to get a doona as it's more comfy then the itchy blankets. The cleaner then came back and quite rudely gave us a couple of stained single doonas. We made do but it feels like it should be a simple request to get a single bed set organised. There was also some cleanliness issues with the sink, bedding and shower but nothing outrageous. The doonas were a little gross though.
The light switches were too far away from the bed. The lights system was hard to use, I could turn on the lights to go to the toilet in the night. The carpet was not clean nor was the hand basin as it as stained. There were no snacks to purchases or complimentary. The buffet breakfast was 50%, not that good. $37 per person was a rip off , better go outside to a cafe.
Staff were generally friendly.

Disappointing after having stayed many stays that they don’t listen to your feedback have mentioned many time. Certain things on the breakfast buffet are cold and there’s no has not been an alteration to improve this over an extremely long period of stays. also always seem to find that there’s missing cups or teaspoons when you arrive at your room another ongoing problem that hasn’t been corrected. Don’t get me wrong. The hotel can be great value for money it just falls down in areas which make it slightly disappointing especially when constructive criticism is given. Have also noticed recent stays that the spa is not running at the heat temperature that it would normally be.
