Excellent dinner.
Pros:

We had a basement room which was not exceptional but clean. What made this place a great stay was the friendly and efficient staff and the excellent food.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit genialem Keller-Appartement
Pros:

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Appartement im Untergeschoss. Herrschaftliches Anwesen mit gepflegter Gartenanlage. Haben das „Old English Breakfast“ genossen, aber auch die vielen anderen angebotenen Alternativen sahen lecker aus. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Größe des Appartements und die moderne Ausstattung haben uns gefallen. Bequemes Bett und gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile. Überhaupt - das ganze Ambiente: phänomenal. Kompliment zu der grandiosen Idee, dieses schöne Haus als Hotel zu nutzen und Gästen zur Verfügung zu stellen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können Orange Grove Hotel & Gardens nur weiterempfehlen.

A lovely place to stay
Pros:

A lovely hotel which seems to be going through a renovation. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the newly decorated rooms, but my sister was in an older room which really needed an upgrade. But this is still a beautiful property with good staff.

Cons:

The older rooms really need a tidy up prior to the full redecoration.

Pros:

Location was good, lots of parking, lovely grounds, rooms were a good size, lovely comfy bed, plenty of space to hang clothes. Reception was very welcoming, all staff were lovely and friendly throughout duration of our 1 night stay.

Cons:

No air con in the room, we didnt need a lift but might be useful for someone who does need it, especially if you have to carry when carrying luggage up stairs. The water cut out during my shower, we did report this to reception and maintenance were going to look into this. My husbands breakfast wasnt very warm and 2 of us didnt have eggs on our breakfasts. Staff were very apologetic and did rectify immediately.

Rooms tired and needed to be redone, lack of places for suitcases in a huge room. Lots of feral kids running round from non hotel guests
