The staff to guest ratio and the friendliness/helpfulness of the staff is better than any hotel I've ever stayed at. Luis in particular was amazing!

We spent a week at the Ibagari Hotel with family and friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. I can’t say enough good things about this place and our experience! The property is beautiful and serene. All of our guests loved their rooms. We travel extensively all over the world, and I can definitively say that this was one of the best properties we have ever experienced.

The service was exceptional. All the staff members went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They helped us with any special requests and truly made us feel welcomed. We are grateful to all the staff for making our week so special.

The lunches and dinners at their Luna Muna restaurant were a great experience every day. The food was delicious, the drinks first class. The night of the event was unforgettable - amazing set-up that made the evening feel surreal.

The amenities were impressive, and we loved the pools, hot tubs, and especially art installations throughout the property. The beach was great - felt truly private without any crowds around. Our time at Ibagari Hotel was unforgettable. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious escape in Roatan - look no further and just book this amazing place!

We can't express enough gratitude for our stay at Ibagari! From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed we were treated with the utmost professionalism, attention to detail and most importantly, genuine kindness. Chris, the manager could not have been more helpful. He arranged an amazing island tour for us with the fabulous Jorje, set up a wonderful dolphin experience and attended to our every need, big or small. Chris, Ineth, Luis and Juli the event planner (among others) made our 20th anniversary celebration over the top special by helping my husband pull off a surprise vow renewal ceremony complete with a wonderful officiant, special dinner on the beach, and even professional bouquet! The Luna Muna restaurant staff (deserving of their own separate review) were also incredible and made this a truly memorable trip and anniversary! The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful and full of amazing art that makes it feel a if you are in an art gallery by the sea. Every single person from housekeeping, to security, to the dive shop staff were kind, attentive, friendly and amazing. Axelito , who ran the water taxi , took his time in helping us navigate our first venture into West End on day one, and was just as helpful in assuring we had the right snorkel gear. We loved absolutely every minute of our stay at Ibagari and it has left an impression and experience that will be with us for life! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

we cannot say enough wonderful things about ibagari. We spent our honeymoon here and the experience with nothing short of luxurious. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, integrated with nature, full of art, and extremely clean. The staff is also unmatched. Christopher in reception was there for all of our needs and questions and made our stay both easy and so fun. Our beach days were made even better with the great care and service given to us by Norma and Sara, who always made sure that we were hydrated, fed, and happy. Jose and Jorge made sure our breakfasts and dinners were perfect. we are also grateful for many water taxi rides, and one very special sunset cruise, under the care of Gaby and Axel. We were made to feel so special and really treated like royalty.

We loved how attentive the staff was to us. They remembered us by name and everyone looked happy to be working there. The diving was exceptional. It felt like we were on a private dive boat.

Ibaragi is such a special place—every detail is aesthetically spot-on. From the beautiful Garifuna-inspired artwork to the sweet tangerine scent, everything feels thoughtfully curated. The high ceilings in the rooms add a sense of openness and calm, and the staff are incredibly attentive and genuinely kind. It's a place that truly leaves an impression.

Ibagari Boutique Hotel exceeded all expectations! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay truly special—so welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it hard to get up in the mornings! The food was absolutely outstanding—every meal felt like a treat. Honestly, there’s no need to leave the property if you don’t want to. Everything you need for a relaxing, luxurious getaway is right here.

Duna Divers on property is hands-down one of the best dive shops I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. From start to finish, everything was seamless, safe, and incredibly enjoyable. The staff is exceptional—warm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Travel time by boat to each dive was less than 15 minutes!

Axel was phenomenal—so kind, professional, and informative about the local marine life and the beauty of the reef. Lucilla and Caleb are outstanding dive instructors who made every dive not just safe, but fun and memorable.

The dives themselves were absolutely incredible. We saw an amazing variety of fish and vibrant coral—truly breathtaking. Every moment underwater was a reminder of how special this place is.

Can’t recommend Duna Divers highly enough, and we absolutely hope to return soon for more adventures with this fantastic team!
