Breakfast outside great.
Wonderful views from dining terrace watching dingy racing and boating life,
also the same fabulous views from bedroom windows.
The lighting on the stairs to second floor was far to soft. Dark and hard to see winding stairs. Stylish hanging
light that was not bright enough.

Our arrival was less than favourable. The receptionist kept referring to a name of guest and a booking that was not us. She was extremely difficult to deal with and made so

The cost of the room did not match the room we had coupled with having a broken fan delivered when we asked for one
Atmosphere and ambience was wonderful - and little touches here and there not usually found in a hotel.
Reception staff were a bit cold - barely looked up at us. But other members of staff made up for this. I had to wait for over 30 mins for my glass of wine - they were not busy, they just forgot. Waiting staff didnt really respond with any sense of urgency or apology.
