Beautiful historic hotel in center of Silverton
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, charming rooms, comfortable bed, clean

Cons:

Room was hot, but they did provide a fan in the room to use. Shower was quite small.

A really excellent hotel. I am sure we will return to here.
Pros:

Great vintage old time hotel. Location couldn't be better.

Cons:

Lack of hotel parking. Parking is on the main road. Lack of elevator. Hauling our stuff up to the third floor is tiring.

Pros:

Great location in Silverton, beautiful interior design, the rooms were clean and well-equiped. The staff was friendly and helpful. Common areas were nice and the adjacent cafe opened early enough to acommodate hikers.

Cons:

Missing handheld shower.

Poor value for the money. A few upgrades could make a worlds’ difference
Pros:

The location and appearance of the property was period and attractive.

Cons:

The lack of either air conditioning or ability to introduce outdoor air was a major negative. Even though the outdoor temperatures never exceeded 77 degrees and were as low as 48 in the morning, the room never fell below 80. The toilet was so close to the wall it was not traditionally functional. Finally, with no staff present prior to 0800 or after 1930, there was no one to discuss the issues with.

Pros:

right in the middle of Silverton. But the town is very small so that isn't too hard

Cons:

No air conditioner. Even with the window wide open, the ceiling fan, and a stand up fan, the room was very hot. Hard to sleep. No elevator.

A charming historic hotel with friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and an unbeatable location in down
Pros:

The Grand Imperial ended up being the perfect unexpected stop after a long day on the trails. With wildfire smoke, changing weather, and campsites filling up, we were relieved to find a reasonably priced room in the heart of Silverton. The hotel's historic character was one of our favorite parts—from the beautifully maintained building to the old-fashioned room key. Check-in was quick and friendly, the renovated room was comfortable, the shower had excellent water pressure, and opening the windows to let the cool mountain air in made for a great night's sleep. The location also made it easy to walk to everything along Main Street.

Cons:

Parking was the only real challenge. Since there isn't a dedicated parking lot, it comes down to finding street parking nearby, which could be difficult during busy times or bad weather if you're carrying luggage. The satellite TV signal also dropped in and out because of the heavy cloud cover, but that wasn't something the hotel could control.
