Great central location and peaceful setting by the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms - good size, very clean, individual styles, nice toiletries and dressing gowns. Great bar and restaurant. Delicious breakfast choices. Would definitely stay here again.
The room above did have squeaky floorboards so we could occasionally hear them. Lift wasn’t working but the staff helped us with all of our bags and suitcases.

nice room with good facilities, the staff were very friendly and helpful. the location was very good, on the riverside. the breakfast was excellent.
the room was extremely hot so sleep was almost impossible and made for an uncomfortable night, however this is not really the fault of the hotel, the weekend we stayed was very hot, the blind had been closed and the window opened to try and keep the room cooler and a fan was provided. Our room was on the third floor and was stifling.
Cold in the restaurant in the morning as the air in was left on, it was a colder morning
Not told the lift wasn’t working to our room. No food served on Sunday night.

Location, comfy bed and a great shower. Very good breakfast and friendly staff.
The lift wasn’t working due to the heat and we were on the second floor. Hard work when I have an ankle injury, which I mentioned but the girl wasn’t interested. Wouldn’t have booked had we known about the lift.

There was nothing to dislike
Location was great. Very central. it was a lovely room very modern clean and you had everything you needed. Right beside the river. Food in the restaurant was great as was the breakfast. Brilliant Value for money. Plus we got to park right beside the hotel for 6 quid. The guy that checked us in was very helpful and friendly. Took us to are room and explained everything. The two girls the next morning were very helpful.
For us it was the fan in the room. With the recent high temps the fan really didn’t blow air out. Other than that perfect stay in a great hotel
The location was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was great value for money. The rooms were also beautifully decorated.
My only 'criticism' is that with no air conditioning in the bedrooms, during this heatwave, sleeping was very difficult. The free-standing fan just seemed to blow around warm air. I appreciate that you can't do anything about our unpredictable British weather, but maybe a bit of investment for the future might be the way forward.
