A very friendly, welcoming 17th century pub/ boutique accommodation. Can’t wait to go back.
Pros:

Dawn, Stuart and all the bar and restaurant staff were amazing. The room was lovely with nice little extras. The food was delicious and good value.

It was great. We would very happily return there, and probably will.
Pros:

Accommodation was very comfortable and user-friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful. We felt welcome.

Cons:

There was only one thing. The weather was exceptionally hot, and a bottle of red wine that we were served was at about 28 degrees C. We did manage to get some ice, to bring it back to a palatable temperature. The proprietor is now aware of this, and keen to sort out such issues.

Excellent food and service.

Cons:

The room were very hot and we could not open windows due to road noise. To be fair, fans were provided and it was incredibly hot!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft auf dem Land und doch nach an Oxford
Pros:

Sehr schönes Zimmer im Nebenhaus des Inns. Super Essen. Haltestelle für den Bus nach Oxford direkt vor dem Haus. Fährt halbstündlich und man ist in einer halben Stunde in Oxford mittendrin.

Very enjoyable with lovely staff.
Pros:

From the moment we arrived at the Fox and Goat the staff were excellent. Very helpful and polite. The young woman who booked us in even carried the suitcase upstairs for us as I have a crutch. Breakfast the next day was excellent. Would 100% stay again.

Cons:

Maybe a a few more tea bags! Lots of herbal read and not quite enough ordinary. But that's just a personal preference! There wasn't anything we didn't like about the stay.

Clean and comfortable, great staff and delicious food in the restaurant.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. We were very close to the restaurant.

Cons:

The car park was directly outside our window. We would have like a chair to sit and watch TV.

Great in every way!!
Pros:

So I booked our parents in as this was close to our wedding venue. They loved it. They had food on the night before our wedding and breakfast on both mornings of their stay. They were all very happy!

Pros:

The owner was so accommodating!! The room was really generous in size and impeccably clean. All the staff were brilliant & breakfast was delicious!!
