Very charming hotel, helpful owner and staff, and a great location just outside the old town

Very friendly people, was definitely the best place we stayed for the entire trip, the rooms were very nice and location was amazing

I liked that it was close to the Ancient Old Town but not directly inside it. It take about 15-20 minutes to walk from the hotel. However, this is convenient because drivers can pick you up right in front of the hotel which may not be an option in some places in the old town.

The property is shown exactly like the photos on booking.com and the room is very cozy with nicely done bathtub separated from the shower room with great view to the courtyard which is a plus point for long day walking! You really get to rewind and relax in this accommodation. It doesn’t just feel commercial, but with sense of touch to culture and tradition in design as well as the ambience with soft music running behind when check in to the room.
What we really love is that the accommodation situated in a very local neighbourhood like a hidden gem but walking distance to the iconic places in Lijiang city.
The owner mr.mao is also very friendly and a kind soul who guided us to local delights and attraction and making sure his guests is all safe and stay immediate contact if needed assistance! It is surely an old story in with many great stories that happened here.

El hotel es muy bonito, las habitaciones son amplias, están todas muy bien decoradas y tienen un balcón para estar tranquilo. El personal del hotel es muy amable y servicial.

What a fantastic place. A really charming property that has a truly unique charm with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff

The staff was incredible - kind, attentive, helpful. There was a language barrier, but that was navigated with phone apps and using the bits of shared language we had. The room and garden outside were beautiful and comfortable - inspiring relaxation. The location was also nice because it was close enough to the tourist spots that we could walk (20 minutes to the “Ancient City”, but still far enough away to be quiet. Also a series of good restaurants near the hotel, so always good choices to eat. Finally, there were many adorable animals - Gary the dog, the pudgy male cat, a lovely Siamese and three perfect kittens - all friendly and non intrusive, they were there if you went to them but never pushed into your space. A splendid way to complete a family friendly hotel.

Een erg leuk hotel met leuke kamers. Personeel probeert te helpen, maar wel met google translate. Ongeveer een half uur lopen naar de stad.

L’efficacité et la gentillesse de l’hôte. La situation de l’hôtel a quelques minutes à pieds de la vieille ville, l’architecture mignonne dans la partie nouvelle de la ville. Rapport prix/qualité très bien.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet, das Zimmer war groß und das Balkon war sehr gemütlich, das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Toll designtes Hotel mit hübschem Garten, Balkon mit Aussicht, großen Zimmern. Mega freundliches Personal. Absolute Empfehlung!
