Great little pub and nice rooms!
Pros:

Super cute little rooms. Very clean. The staff is sooo nice. They’ll make a nice little breakfast in the morning for you for 10£ and it’s very cozy. This was the nicest (and best value) pub I stayed in for the price point for sure. Easy drive into Cotswold and Stratford upon Avon

Lovely stay, very nice owner, clean room, tasty breakfast. There’s a bus stop nearby that can take you around.

Cons:

My room had very bright green fire alarm throughout the night that disturbed the sleep. Please look into this, otherwise everything is great.

Good food, good company and overnight rest in a location that was beyond idyllic and tranquil.
Pros:

It’s location. Being in a small village it was very quiet to allow a good night’s sleep.
It’s character, particularly the references to the six wives of Henry VIII.
The bedroom and bathroom were well supplied with everything we needed for our stay.

We liked everything about it.

It is a lovely town.

Cons:

One of the rooms had no light at all. Having to take a big step into the bathroom in the dark was very dangerous. The Wi-Fi did not work. The staff was rude — they mistook me for another guest who had not checked out, and called me on the phone in an extremely rude manner. When they realized their mistake, they didn't even apologize. I've never experienced anything like this before.

Loverly village pub, atmospheric and helpful staff

Cons:

Our dinner reservations was not fulfilled. On arrival we were told that the kitchen was closed due to the extreme heat. Quite understandable and correct thing to do for the safety of their staff. But we should have been informed by phone or message before our arrival; we could have made other arrangements whilst on route.
