Fine place but unit was not stocked well with supplies.
Pros:

This is a condotel--privately owned apartments. The units are very modern and spacious and there is secure covered parking. Our unit had an ocean view. The location is PERFECT--right in town, but on the sea and on a quiet street.

Cons:

The unit was poorly stocked. We had only the minimum number of towels--no extras. In the kitchen there was only one dish towel, no paper goods at all--no napkins, no paper towel. There was no sponge or scrub brush to do dishes and a minimum amount of dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. In addition, our bedroom was on an open air interior corridor and had almost no natural light. Management was responsive when we asked for things but we'd have preferred not to have to ask.

Perfect stay in Hermanus
Pros:

The hotel was centrally located and the room was fantastic. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, all of which have solidified our decision to never stay any were else in Hermanus, but at the Esplanade.

Cons:

Everything was perfect, from the staff to the accommodation.

A pleasant stay with an excellent location.
Pros:

Great location, with the beach and cliff walk right outside the door, and the shopping and dining area within easy walking distance. Very convenient for both sightseeing and meals. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to book an ocean-view room.

The staff were friendly and responsive, and most requests were handled promptly. The room was well equipped and would be a good option for a longer stay.

Cons:

A couple of minor improvements: it would be nice to provide hand cream in the room, and the second bedroom does not have air conditioning, which made it a bit cold at night during winter.

The staff is exceptional!
Friendly, warm and so welcoming.
Staying there to attend the Race2Hermanus with my teenage daughter for her 16th birthday and 9 of her friends.
We were looked after like we were celebrities.
Thank you!!! A weekend to remember!

Simply fabulous
Pros:

Gorgeous room with a spectacular view. So nice to receive a complimentary bottle of delicious wine. Walking distance to everything. Wonderful to be able to do laundry there as well. Highly recommend.

Pros:

Absolutely loved the apartment - the staff and the incredible views. The staff go beyond what is required, and nothing is too much of an effort for them. What i loved is that its central, they provide daily housekeeping and if you need anything, the staff are super accommodating. If you can afford it, take a Seaview apartment its worth the money!
