Wonderful setting and comfort levels. The Restaurant and Bar staff marred the experience.
Pros:

It is a wonderful well kept, immaculate manor and grounds, and generally everything was fabulous from the Valet to the Reception staff, the room facilities and comfort.

Cons:

Considering this hotel is 'With 4 AA Red Stars, it is one of the top 200 hotels in the country and offers delicious award-winning food'. Both the evening meal and breakfast were overall, disappointing.

We were hurried to order our dinner choices while we were taking drinks (which took a long time to be served) in the bar before our reservation, only to find we were the only people in the restaurant for a good half an hour of service.
The dinning room was uncomfortably laid out and seemed to be very dated.
At dinner; the cod which was ordered by one of our party (who is a Red Seal, Michelin trained chef) was sent back as it was over-cooked only to be told by the Maître d', that ‘that was the way chef cooked it’ – all the other food, especially the salmon was wonderful, we did not stay for dessert.

At breakfast; a Mimosa was ordered, but the server did not know what that was which seems surprising in such a well established restaurant.

Pros:

The hotel is absolutely adorable, and the room was very comfortable. We also really enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Cons:

It’s better to have your own car, as it was difficult to find a taxi in the area.

Pros:

Staff were pleasant although no information was given on arrival on the location of the restaurant, bar etc.

Cons:

We could hear the occupants of the room above walking around closing doors, better sound proofing required.
Service at dinner was slow.
Hotel location is down small single lane roads and is not in walking distance of restaurants, shops or places of interest. But it quiet with nice gardens.

最高のおもてなし!
Pros:

Cons:

公共交通機関を利用してホテルに行ったため、少し時間はかかりましたが、途中の遊歩道も楽しむことができました。不便なところにあるのも私にとっては逆に魅力でした。良くないところは見当たりません。

The perfect getaway from the city
Pros:

Extremely friendly staff
Nice quiet location not like the over crowded villages but also close to these crowded villages if you want to visit
Rooms were clean and comfy. It was spacious for our family of four
The outside area is beautifully cared for

Cons:

Since the restaurant closes early we had to bring few snacks for the kids from the supermarket, the problem is that there was no fridge to keep them over night and no ac in the room so we ended up throwing a lot of food
