Calm, ambient, simplicity, relaxation and comfortable.
Pros:

The property was clean, very good with communication through email and prompt. English was good! They even made us a takeaway pack for breakfast as we were leaving early on the last morning. Nothing was a hassle and the accommodation boosts a sense of calm. Beds were comfy, loved the wooden bath and shower and the toilet I’ll be talking about for a long time. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t initially like which wasn’t a problem was the ally way it was in, a little tricky to find.

Pros:

今回2回目の利用でしたが、やっぱり落ち着きます。ヒノキのお風呂もとても香りが良かった。周りの音も全く気にならず、貸しきりだと思うほどでした。また3回目も利用したいと思います。

お風呂のカビが少し気になったかなぁ。

Perfect in every way
Pros:

This was the best place we stayed at in Japan. The staff were amazing, so kind and welcoming, the whole place felt very serene and calm. Our room was beautiful, we loved the traditional Japanese style. The bed was so comfortable, the wooden bath unique and all the little extra details made us feel very special .
We loved the location and the ryokan kindly let us keep the bikes we had hired for three days in the courtyard overnight .
This was our second visit and I would choose this place every time.
Thank you for making our stay in Kyoto extraordinary.

Nice wooden Bathtub however, it is non essential

Kyoto Visit
Pros:

This is a wonderful property to stay at while you are in Kyoto. The customer service, cleanliness and location are top notch. Easy access to the various transit lines and the Kyoto Train station. I highly recommend this place for anyone planning to visit Kyoto

Beautiful and authentic Ryokan with a private wooden bath that we enjoyed a lot. Also super friendly staff.
