Very disappointing experience. We had stayed at this hotel many times before, but after this visit, never again.
The hotel insisted on charging me the foreigner rate, even though I had a valid Marriage Visa and was entitled to the local rate. My family staying in the same room were all Maldivian citizens.
The price quoted by phone was also different from the price upon arrival. I cancelled the booking and booked through Booking.com for a much cheaper price, including airport transfer.
The staff were unwilling to discuss the issue, and when I asked for a manager’s contact details, I was told they had none. Very poor communication and customer service.
Uçuşumuz öncesi bir gece konakladık. Otelin ücretsiz havalimanı transferi mevcut hem gelişte hem gidişte oldukça konforlu araçlarla . Ayrıca personel çok yardımsever ve güleryüzlüydü. Sabah uçuşumuz erken olduğundan kahvaltıya yetişemeyecektik bizlere paket kahvaltı hazırladılar. Odalar oldukça temiz ve konforluydu, ihtiyacımız olan tüm ürünler mevcuttu. Çevrede güzel restoranlar da bulunmakta. Kısa konaklamalar için oldukça yeterli hatta beklentimin üzerinde.

We had a good stay at Unima Grand. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring Malé. The facilities were good, and the room was generally clean and comfortable. Overall, it offered reasonable value for money.

The hotel is in an amazing location which provides a wonderful view of the ocean. The rooms were comfortable and the staff were friendly, welcoming and polite, especially Amina, who was always ready to help us if an issue arose.
Visit unima grand is very nice we enjoy the stay. Staff here very kind special from reception amina and from resturant chef are very helpful we will visit again.food is bery taste
