Angenehmes Hotel, nicht weit zum Strand, Frühstück ausreichend und lecker, grosses Badezimmer,

Laute Bauarbeiten im Hotel und trotz Hinweise an Rezeption über mehrere Tage. Hinweis: Rooftop room hat keinen zweiten Fluchtweg!

A warm, welcoming family-run hotel in a perfect spot near the beach, with plenty to explore right on the doorstep.
Pros:

We absolutely loved this family-run hotel — so friendly and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. With the beach just a short walk away and lots of lovely little streets, restaurants and small shops nearby, it’s a wonderful place to base yourself.

Staff do their best + Quality Breakfast but Noisy Building
Pros:

We booked a suite but didn't quite like its location inside the hotel, asked if we can change and got a really good corner room (slight downgrade but that was completely fine for us) with a great view to rice fields. The lady who checked us in and changed our room was very nice and helpful, she even tried and succeeded to put some good and quiet neighbors in a nearby room after we complained about noise from the previous ones (see below). We could breath without an issue, there is ventilation and no bad smell. It was a good change and we could heal after coming from another place which had moldy smell. Laundry service was good and not too expensive. The breakfast was really really good, it felt like every single item and even ingredient was the best possible quality, it is a kind of breakfast you don't want to miss

Cons:

It says soundproof, but it is not soundproof in any way. It looks like it was some other hotel which was bought by Wyndham, and the original builders didn't know anything about soundproofing at all. There is a large enough hole left beneath the entrance door after closing it. Windows are single layer, the worst thing is that there are holes inside the "wall" between your and your neighbors balcony, I wonder who was the genius to design it like that. You can put your hand inside these holes and shake hands with your neighbor. They can also see your room from their balcony through these holes so you just have to keep curtains partly closed. If someone is sitting on their balcony and talking, nearby rooms will hear them even with their windows closed. The floor is tiles, so when someone drags furniture even below your room, you will hear it. The walls are even "better", we had only one neighbor room, we heard they came late night to their room, and some dude began to roar like a tiger, then went to the balcony and started talking, after that we could hear them showering and constantly hitting something in their bathroom, after they checked out we heard the staff repairing something in that room after their stay which is hilarious. As mentioned above - after they left, we got some quiet neighbors we barely heard, but still, it is more of a problem of hotel "soundproofing" than the guests themselves, the building is poorly designed in that regard, but at least staff try their best to make your life easier.

We had 2 rooms booked one room faced the river which was spacious and comfortable . Spa and food cafes walkable

Cons:

Unfortunately there is lot of construction so was very noisy and the rooms overlooking the sea was not a pleasant view and is not beach front . You have to cross the road.. the location is a bit further away and need taxis to get to the Main street

Tolles Hotel, aber zu weit weg von der Altstadt
Pros:

Tolles, sauberes und schön eingerichtetes Zimmer. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, die sich um alles gekümmert haben. Poolbereich ganz schön, aber vor allem das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut. Die Lage ist gut, wenn man Strandnähe bevorzugt. Es gibt auch zwei mal täglich einen kostenlosen Shuttle zum Strand, wo Liegen und Handtücher vom Hotel gestellt werden.

Cons:

Wir haben festgestellt, dass man doch die meiste Zeit in der Altstadt verbringen möchte und dort kommt man zu Fuß nicht hin vom Hotel aus und die Strecke ist nicht sonderlich schön mit dem Fahrrad. Ein Grab kostet zwar nicht viel, aber es läppert sich trotzdem bei mehreren Tagen und vor allem kostet es jedes Mal Zeit. Würden also im Zweifel eher eine Unterkunft in der Old Town empfehlen.

Well worth staying at Wyndum if you want to be away from the old town
Pros:

Rooms were spacious, good pressure in showers, good breakfast with lots to choose from, nice pool area with bar. Only had one diner there but it was very good. Spa was extremely good and well priced.
Above all the staff were excellent. I can’t remember all their names but Lyly at reception and Helen in the spa in particular looked after all our needs

Nice simple hotel

Cons:

The staff are very friendly and well very efficient at solving issues. We had a problem with some noise from builders across the road and they helped us tremendously in relocating our room rooms I want to thank Sue the front office manager she was lovely

De gastvrijheid , grote kamer, uitgebreid ontbijt westers en aziatisch, hidden beach dichtbij met moon beach als favorite beach club, cua dai beach zeer relaxed, lekker zwembad, handdoeken voor het strand, extra beveiliging voor onze motor., goede roomservice met nette prijzen, verschillende activiteiten , goede visrestaurants in de buurt op loopafstand
