Aaron from engineering/maintenance helped me with a water closet problem. He was great!
Rooms seemed new and modern and clean. BUT hates the design and lack of function. 1. Bathroom is open to the room. Toilet closet does have a door that closes and shower is good and has opaque door that closes but the rest is open to room. Small sink area but manageable storage space for toiletries. “Closet” cabinet is tiny and open to sink area. No door. Huge ironing board in closet. Two drawers ar floor level below raised hanging space. One bedside table is a hard to use safe. Mini fridge’s ring and open to room on floor under desk. Beds okay. Pillows include very firm and a soft. Okay. Toilet seat is enormous rectangle! Almost fell in it. Annoying hard to push button flusher on top of tank. No robe. No slippers. Full length mirror is smoked glass can’t see. No makeup mirror with magnification. Okay towels. Very small room. King. Crowded
Very nice lobby, restaurant and bar.
Open bathroom. Toilet slide door very noisy. Going to toilet at night woke us up.
Location is great.
Atmosphere is nice.
Room we stayed in lacked convenience features... USB, electric outlets, luggage rack or storage, sink and vanity storage and the sinks is essentially in the room. No place to properly hang towels. Had to call for towels and room servicing twice. The value was not there. Could have stayed in same location with more comfort. I don't like that the rooftop bar is open to the public. There should be priority seating and entry for guests. We won't stay again. It doesn't suit our needs but it could yours. Loved the shower.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important for other travelers to be aware of our experience.
While the hotel has modern décor, the rooms are quite small and feel cramped. Unfortunately, this was the least of the issues during our stay.
Shortly after checking in, we noticed a strong odor in our room and contacted the front desk. We were moved to another room within about 5–10 minutes, which we appreciated. However, after a couple of hours, the same odor returned in the new room.
The smell appeared to be coming from the drains and became progressively worse throughout our stay. On Friday evening, the odor on the 19th floor was so strong that it was immediately noticeable when exiting the elevator and was also present in the hallway.
We contacted the front desk on multiple occasions over several days. Housekeeping and maintenance attended the room multiple times, confirming the issue was ongoing. At one point, maintenance left a bottle of Ecolab odor-control product in the room for us to use, which is not something one would expect in a hotel stay.
By Sunday afternoon, after repeatedly reporting the issue, I requested the General Manager’s contact information from the Front Desk Manager, Lucas, and was told it could not be provided. I also brought the Ecolab product down with me, and it was taken by staff.
While staff were responsive in sending assistance, the underlying issue was not resolved at any point during our stay. The experience fell significantly short of expectations for a Le Méridien property and the Marriott brand.
I am including a photo of the product provided in the room, as well as an email from Lucas referencing the multiple room odor issues.
Based on this stay, I would not choose this property again and would advise others to be aware of the potential for similar issues, particularly on the 19th floor.
Spent 3 nights during pride weekend. Location to this place is perfectly central. Clean, beautiful lobby and rooms. The atmosphere at the lobby can feel like a party since so many people go to either Corinne or 54thirty (their 1st floor restaurant and rooftop bar.)
Noise level was completely doable even though there’s some construction work going on on the roads and adjacent blocks.
Service was PRIME. We have to make some honorable mentions:
Mini was a rockstar checking us in and checking with us daily when we crossed paths at the lobby. She did an amazing job checking us in, taking care of us, answer all the questions, and made us feel like top notch guests, while know how to be fun and queeny with us for pride weekend.
We also would like to give a shout-out to Jose Miguel, our Housekeeper on the 14th floor. He was so mindful of our space. Went beyond what is required to make things look extra tidy and neat. We were always surprised by little details that we know it took some thinking to come up with.
We will be coming back for it all.
Everything was absolutely above and beyond. It was my first time staying at Le Meridien. Well definitely be staying again when I have the opportunity. I had an issue with my bathroom and they were up here fixing it within minutes. Would definitely recommend to friends.
Aaron was amazing! We appreciated his prompt follow up and $25 dollar certificate for the rooftop lounge during our honeymoon! They also had spa bathroom supplies we loved. Thanks, Marriott.
Aaron came in and expertly fixed our toilet so we could get ready and go about our day enjoying Denver as a family!
So me and my boyfriend went there for the Morgan Wallen concert and for our one year anniversary and so we took a shower and the water would stay warm for like two seconds and then it was freezing so I called and they brought a maintenance man up and he said oh no, it’s fine. It’s hot and we touched it. OK yeah it was hot. Then we went to turn it on again and it was freezing cold and then my boyfriend got in and same thing. He’s like this water is so cold and then that last night I got in again and I said oh my God it’s freezing. I complained about four or five times they never did anything and then our food was always cold. We got like the spicy cauliflower and those were freezing. Just nothing seemed right and it was just a horrible experience and I spent so much money and they didn’t do anything about it.
Very friendly restaurant with excellent service and great value for the price. Paying around $21 for both the buffet and the option to order additional dishes from a menu with many selections felt very reasonable. The variety of food options was impressive, and everything made for a great experience. The staff was very welcoming, and Gita in particular was excellent, attentive, kind, and made us feel very well taken care of. Definitely recommend!
Had a maintenance issue and Arron from maintenance came right up and fix the issue. He was very professional and pleasant.
I stay at Le Méridien Denver Downtown frequently for work and wanted to recognize Sandra and Anai at the front desk for the incredible hospitality they provide.
Every time I arrive, they are genuinely warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. They go out of their way to make guests feel cared for, and that level of kindness stands out. Most recently, I flew in very early from the East Coast and had requested ahead of time if there was any possibility of an early check in around 10:00 AM. They did everything they could to make that happen and even upgraded my room to one closer to the elevators after a long travel day.
What I appreciate most is that they make the hotel feel personal. It never feels transactional or routine. As someone who stays here often for work, it means a lot to be greeted by people who are consistently so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Sandra and Anai are a huge part of what keeps me coming back to this property whenever I’m in Denver.
We had brunch , and we had drinks, everything was enjoyable, clean and attentive. Even thw Valet
I was expecting a more upscale experience, but Le Meridien Denver felt more like an AC Marriott. Actually, I did not notice any differences between the AC (attached to Le Meridien) and Le Meridien. I have stayed at previous Le Meridien and the experience was much more upscale. I purchased the deluxe king city line (supposedly their best room) and had a view of the side of the building, no city line. Housekeeping was inconsistent. 1/3 of elevators were not working and therefore long waits for elevators. I stayed 4 nights and the elevator was never repaired. For the cost, I’d recommend another hotel.
