Loading and unloading area is tight, and most parking is located away from the building.

Smells of urine in the hallway, dirty, outlets did not work

our balcony ceiling leaked water.

We didn’t have a shower curtain…
and curtain guests were smoking “stuff” on the balcony so it smelled our entire stay. We could smell it on the balcony, hallway, and elevator.

We would definitely stay again but we would not get street side again (way too loud) we also would not want a room beside elevators again (also very loud) and our ac unit cooled the room amazing but it woke us up every-time it started up it sounded like a jet taking off from a runway.
(That is no exaggeration).
I also do not recommend 2 double beds for 4 people,way too small and not comfortable at all.
No one slept and we actually left a day early because we needed to get home in our bed so we could sleep.

So all in all definitely worth the price and the location and the cleanliness of the hotel but I would definitely get ocean side and bigger beds for more comfort.

The indoor pool we didn’t realize would be only 3ft and the lazy river was only 2ft,we all scraped our knees up on it.The humps in the bottom of the hot tubs we weren’t expecting and for anyone older and past surgeries like my husband who just had a hip replacement in February it could really hurt someone who isn’t expecting it.

Loud AC unit

Stayed here recently and came away with mixed feelings. The biggest positives were that the room and linens appeared clean, and housekeeping seemed to do a good job in that regard.

However, the property itself feels very outdated and in need of major renovation. The photos on the website set expectations that the actual hotel did not meet. The building, decor, furnishings, and room features all felt extremely worn and dated. The kitchenette and furniture looked like they had seen many years of use and could benefit from significant updating.

My biggest concern was security. There appeared to be multiple access points where anyone could enter the hotel without a room key, and even the elevators seemed accessible without any restriction. As a guest, that made me feel uncomfortable and took away from the overall experience.

I also stayed during Black Bike Week, when many roads and traffic patterns around the area were restricted. While I understand that the hotel does not control city traffic, I was disappointed that there was no communication ahead of time explaining road closures, traffic changes, or how guests should access the hotel parking areas. On the night I arrived, I called for help because I could not figure out how to get to the property due to the road restrictions. Unfortunately, the response was not helpful, and I overheard a manager in the background being rude. I ultimately had to stop and ask police officers for directions and assistance.

If you’re looking for a basic place to sleep and cleanliness is your top priority, it may work for you. But if you’re expecting a modern property that matches polished website photos, or if security and communication matter to you, you may want to manage your expectations.

Parking was an issue, and as a family with small children, the walk from the far parking lots were tedious and a little anxious. The bathrooms were a little small, hard to open the door because of the toilet.

The bathroom set up was horrible, the chairs on the balcony were so uncomfortable and there wasn’t even a table to place outer cups on, we had to use the back of the air conditioner unit
