The location is away from the noise but next to all the action in a very well kept and serene space
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, excellent location, wonderful staff. .

Cons:

My only issue is that it is a very small hotel (without a lot of common space/amenities). The onsen is very small but was never crowded.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in a Great Location
Pros:

Outstanding hotel in one of Kyoto’s most beautiful and charming districts. It offers everything you could wish for from a boutique hotel: elegant design, spacious and comfortable rooms, a relaxing atmosphere, and an excellent spa/public bath perfect after a day of sightseeing.

What truly makes this hotel special is the exceptionally friendly and professional staff, who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The location is ideal for exploring Gion, Yasaka Shrine, and many of Kyoto’s most famous attractions.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic Kyoto experience combined with modern comfort and outstanding hospitality.

Perfect launch pad for the tradtional side of Kyoto. Deserving of their accolades
Pros:

Great location in Gion, on a quiet street with lots of high end restaurants. The staff we're brilliant, above and beyond. The hotels onsen was beautiful. Breakfast was great and reasonably priced. Free shuttle to the station was great. Highly recommend.

Cons:

We were given a room with 2 double beds pushed together, which made for a big bed, but also created a little depression in the middle which is annoying when you're sharing with your partner. 1 queen or king would've been better.

Best breakfast ever

Location is amazing! I woke up at 6am and went for a walk. Everything was quiet and my favourite spot was empty. The breakfast is the best I ever had

A must stay hotel. We recommend it to everyone!
Pros:

The absolute highlight of our trip. About 300m from the famous pagoda, this hotel is everything you’d want out of an authentic Gion experience. It’s beautiful, quiet, and feels very traditional. Dinner options near the hotel are limited but if you plan your day well, you can wake up early you can see all of Gion in peace and still stroll back to the hotel for breakfast.. and then spend the rest of the day and evening in the newer parts of Kyoto. Stunning stunning stunning.

Buona posizione, camera pulita,bellissima e spaziosa. Il personale molto gentile con un buon inglese.

L’Happy Hour e succhi, caffè e acqua sempre a disposizione. L’accoglienza del personale

Cons:

Luxe, calm and convenience
Pros:

This Hotel exceeded my expectation. The room was large and quiet, with a large window giving on typical townhouses, a parking ( but quiet) and beautiful mounts. The beds were extremely comfortable. All the staff was super polite patient and helpful. They have a public bath that was beyond relaxing and a bar with happy hour. They have a free shuttle service to the train station.

Cons:

That i could not stay longer!
