Good stay
Pros:

The hotel is very nice, in a good location. It's quiet and peaceful in the evenings. The rooms are comfortable, and the service is very good. We'll gladly return on our next visit to Kyoto.

Pros:

Loved the aesthetics of this hotel, the room was comfortable but not quite the wow factor I had hoped for. Loved the Onsen

Cons:

It was a little out of the way so I was catching taxis more than planned since it’s not close to the train station

Great stay, staff, location and amenities :)
Pros:

Staff are very friendly, front desk ladies are so nice, kind and very helpful. Breakfast buffet has great options and all tasted delicious. Our room was spacious, beds comfortable and location is close to a lot of attractions, even walking distance. Definitely recommending and will be coming back.

Excellent location, friendly staff.
Pros:

The location was excellent. Right in the heart of the Gion district close to many famous attractions and temples. And many good restaurants. The spa was incredibly nice - clean and well maintained. There was only another person when I used it, it felt like having a private onsen.

Cons:

There were no good snack, drink options in the hotel. The wine bar opened only at 7 pm and it was the only place to have a snack. Only an open bar breakfast option was available, we could not get a cup of coffee only if we paid for the full breakfast. But there were many good restaurant options walking distance from the hotel.

I loved the location and the charm of this Hotel Highly recommend
Pros:

Adored this property From the onsen, to lovely comfortable room to the accommodating staff It was such a pleasure to stay here! This was the more historic side of town, and i loved that. So charming and authentically Japanese With a short 10 minute walk you could be in the center of city life but with a short 10 minute walk in the opposite direction you are looking at Buddhas Temples Shrines and Pagodas

Beautiful and short Kyoto stay
Pros:

We booked a suite - a bigger room than usual and were not disappointed. Location is central and good. A little bit of view even. Breakfast is elevated.
