Pros:

HORRIBLE experience. Here for sporting event and limited taxis available. Apparently only one company available and if you make appt at 9am they arbitrarily say 10 am sorry. Showers so tiny and shower head broken falls off the wall. Loud garbage trucks are awful. Staff snooty and aren’t helpful at all. DO NOT RECCOMEND. Find anywhere else and pay a bit more. Anywhere but here !

Pros:

Entered the shower only to discover that the shower gel dispenser was empty. The room phone wasn't connected to reception, so I had to call the hotel using my cell phone. It took them 25 minutes to bring me some shower gel in small "sample" size portions that were difficult to open without scissors.

The A/C wasn't working, and there was no one at the front desk at 11:00 PM on a Saturday night to address this.

No one seems to care about anything in general.

There were actually two different buildings. They are a bit old fashioned and I wouldn’t recommend to someone who likes

Uncomfortable stay
Pros:

Location close to the beach. Elevator with view.

Cons:

Very very small room and bathroom. Too noisy, from very early in the morning you can hear the garbage truck making a horrible noise with the glass, then all day long noise and screaming from the pools and guests slamming the doors. Uncomfortable bed. The door didn’t open/close properly, you have to push/pull hard and make noise. Too expensive for 1 person in a 3 star hotel. Breakfast not included. Air conditioner to pay extra.

Second time
Pros:

I failed to make a review during our first stay which is basically the same time of the year.

I have to agree that room designs are old, but basically all are functional, restroom/bathroom is newly renovated, last year we had an excellent view of the beach from the balcony, this year not so but this is just minor complaint.

Food is great with wide variety of salad, meat and fish. Mind you , all are fresh and staff are all accomodating specially amalia/amy.

Beach is just a stone away and pool, heated , hydromassage and clean with the restroom exclusively for pool user. Owner provided us with 4 beds and 2 beach umbrellas.

Franco and Paolo are very accomodating and friendly and i don’t know what others are saying but we are happy returning customers and considering to go back again next year. That’s already your cue.

A great stay
Pros:

I spent 4 nights in Milano Marittima at Mayflower hotel and I left very pleased with my stay. The hotel’s location was a great convenience as it had direct access to the beach while also being in close proximity to the city’s main pedestrian street. The room was average sized but it was clean and comfortable and the staff was attentive and super helpful. The breakfast selection was greatly assorted as well! All in all, a good value for money. Would definitely recommend!
