Maggie and O’niel was excellent. We received the best customer service ever. I was in the Army and gave great customer service, so I know the importance of it. And they went above and beyond for us and we truly appreciate them.

Our experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Walton Beach was exceptional, and it all started the moment we walked through the front doors.

After having a very disappointing experience at another hotel, we arrived feeling stressed, frustrated, and honestly wondering if our birthday getaway was going to be a disappointment. Thankfully, Oniel completely changed the direction of our trip.

From the moment he greeted us, he made us feel genuinely welcome. He didn’t just check us in—he took care of us. He made us feel like valued guests, not just another reservation. His kindness, professionalism, and sincere desire to help immediately put us at ease. Within just a few minutes, he had completely turned our mood around and helped us relax and start enjoying our vacation.

Oniel has a rare gift for hospitality. He made us feel known, appreciated, and important. You can tell he truly cares about the guest experience, and because of him, what started as a stressful day became one of the best vacations we’ve had in years.

I’d also like to recognize everyone working the front desk on Thursday evening. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. The positive attitude of the entire staff created a wonderful first impression that continued throughout our stay.

As for the hotel itself, we couldn’t have been happier. The property is beautiful, clean, and perfectly maintained. The beach access is fantastic, the pool and outdoor spaces are places you actually want to spend time, and the lobby is comfortable and inviting. Unlike many beach hotels where you simply sleep and leave, this is a property where you genuinely enjoy spending the day.

In fact, my wife and I have already said that we plan to bring our three sons, their wives, and someday our future grandchildren back here. It has exactly the kind of atmosphere we’re looking for—large enough to have everything you need, yet intimate enough to feel peaceful, relaxing, and welcoming.

Thank you, Oniel, and thank you to the entire Hilton Garden Inn Fort Walton Beach team for reminding us what true hospitality looks like. You didn’t just provide a hotel stay—you helped create wonderful memories and completely transformed our birthday vacation.

Their attention to detail (the Sales Team, Banquet Services, Front Desk Staff, and every hotel staff member in between), helped ensure that our reunion was a huge success, as they helped us create family memories that will last a lifetime. Matt, the Banquet Services Manager, ensured that all our catering and banquet services needs were implemented with precision, accuracy, and efficiency. We had an amazing stay and honestly did not want to leave! The convenience of being so close to the pool, hot tub, and ocean made everything easy and relaxing.

The rooms were very clean, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. ONeil was especially great and helped make our stay even better.

We also truly appreciated how well Diamond members were treated. The daily $20 credit for both my wife and me was a wonderful benefit and added even more value to our stay.

This was a fantastic trip for the two of us, and we would love to come back and bring our kids next time. Highly recommend!

Pebble and Maggie are two of the kindest, sweetest, thoughtful humans and the world could stand to have many more of them in it!
They were both so patient and giving to my very curious, talkative, and outgoing 8 year old.
From gifts and conversations, to cookies and milk, and chocolate covered strawberries, both of my daughters couldn't have felt more special. Pebble and Maggie deserve the biggest raise, promotion, and some kind of employee appreciation. I know the hotel industry workers get crapped on a lot. But these two never wavered from being the best.

Maggie was very helpful at checking and providing great recommendations for for food and drinks. She even scored an ocean view room for me!! I will definitely stay here again!

Everything was very nice, loved the activities for the small children and easy access to the beach. The lady that cleaned the rooms on the second floor was exceptional. She was very nice, smiled and a great asset to the hotel. I really like the armbands that we purchased that would also open our room, made things so easy not having to keep up with a room key.

I had an incredible stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Walton Beach. The hotel itself is beautiful, the beach is absolutely stunning, and the amenities made everything easy and relaxing. But the true highlight was Lamonte. He was welcoming, fun, and genuinely made our stay feel special. His energy and kindness are unmatched, he’s a real gem and the heart of this hotel. Highly recommend staying here!
