The food for breakfast was lovely and a good selection , the location for what we needed was great., staff were friendly
The carpets were awful in the corridors thead bear in places and a trip hazzard, didnt give a good impression. Carpets wetent clean by skirting boards.
The bed wasnt comfortable and the pillows were rock hard.
Wasnt allowed to pay for extra parking as i had my sons graduation at 10 30, so had to move the car early as we had to be there for 8.
We were done by 1 so i cant see why this isnt allowed if you are willing to pay as the new guests cant check in until 2.
Wasnt enough dusabled parking in the car park which isnt great when you have a disabled parent mid eighties.

The hotel felt in need of an upgrade, with dated furniture and decor.

Coffee machine could have been better, too slow for number of guests.

Had to ask to change room as the room we were given smelt awful and looking like it hadent been cleaned our next room was better but the hotel itself looks very tired and in need of some tlc

No hairdryer in the bedroom. Very shabby paintwork throughout. New carpeting required especially in reception (first impressions are so important).

Room Was a bit dated, old air con unit not working, a fan was provided which worked well but was very dusty; the shower head was full of limescale, the furniture was very dated, definately seen better days, so the room needs an update aesthetically, but the bed was comfy and views were great of the cathedral

Certain areas of the hotel are tired. We had problems with the tv, but were able to change room.

Deluxe room - a little tired. Could do with a little paint around the edges, doors etc. Carpet tired, could do with a change. Would prefer a king bed in deluxe rooms.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and really couldnt do enough for us. The hotel was great and well located and perfect for our needs. I would highly recommend and would use again myself

The location of this hotel was excellent for the castle and cathedral. Two of the three rooms had comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Parking was a bonus in central Lincoln, even though there was an overnight charge. My advice if you are attending a Graduation is to check in at the hotel but park in a local carpark for 24 hours to make sure you do not have the scramble to find a parking spot in the morning with the hundreds of other people!
The decoration of this hotel was very dated. It was clean but due to the decor it looked a bit grubby. One of the three rooms we had booked an accessible room which was ok however it did not have a hairdryer, which was a problem due to attending a local function. Luckily a family member was in the adjoining room, with a connecting door, and I was eventually able to source one, all be it a bit too late. The mattress on the bed needed upgrading as it was quite hard and you could feel metal structure of it. The carpets in all rooms needed renewing.
