Pros:

The location was excellent, staff friendly. A lovely place to stay but could do with a bit of tlc, it was obviously a top hotel at one point but is looking a little tired.

Pros:

Breakfast was exceptional, car parking very good, staff very friendly and obliging. Room was OK. Location was amazing with a view of the Cathedral. Just a short stroll to restaurants, cathedral and castle.

Cons:

The room was OK and clean but very tired and in need of redecoration. The room overlooked the car park and was above reception and quite noisy. The room was quite dark and could do with being able to open the heavy curtains during the day but as there were no other covering for the window we had to close it to put lights on.

Pros:

The location and view from the dining/breakfast room were very good.

Cons:

The room, whilst comfortable and clean was a bit tired - especially the bathroom. Decor is obviously a subjective thing, but the bar area seems to be stuck in the 80s, as were the transparent polycarbonate chairs in the dining room (but apparently they're still sold today). I just didn't feel safe on them.

Very pleasant stay in a lovely part of Lincoln.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent. The car park was a real advantage ( question having to pay extra for it after paying for the room?)

Cons:

Just feel the rooms could do with a bit of an update but perfectly adequate.

Good hotel in a great location, very handy for the cathedral, castle and places to eat.
Pros:

Plenty of parking, a clean room with two comfortable single beds. Breakfast was excellent, very good choice of food. A great location close to the cathedral and castle.

Cons:

Daily parking charge (£7) felt a bit steep. Some of the overall decor is looking tired and needs refreshing.

Pros:

Location was perfect. Right beside the old town of Lincoln City and bustling with culture. The Cathedral next door is exceptional and is absolutely brimming with history. The old Lincoln Gaol is just a short walk and the tour is definitely worth doing. Around the immediate locality is the old city of Lincoln with an impressive street named Steep hill just around the corner from the hotel. At the top are some really good traditional shops and further down the hill has some great restaurants and bars. Be warned. If you treck down you must come back up and the street lives up to its name. But well worth a nosey around.

Cons:

Hotel was ok, lacked a little cleanliness and could do with a paint job. I wasn't happy about being charged to park in the car park after paying for my room.
