The photos are deceiving. The room was so bad we abandoned it and didn’t even care we had to pay the cancellation fee. Dirty, old, minimalistic feel of a Super 8. Do not waste your time here.
Hôtel récent avec de nombreux services associés. Propre. Chambre plutot spacieuse. Accessible a pied de lieux intéressants.
On peut toujours améliorer. Manque une fontaine a eau entre autres.
Close to downtown, but awkward location with highway nearby. Didn't have rental, so don't know how parking worked. Smaller sized lobby, but had limited-menu cafe next to front desk. Separated bar/appetizer, but can't comment on atmosphere as I never passed it. Rooms were good, little on the small side, but enough room. Bathroom was really nice. Clean room and no complaints about anything on arrival. Front desk staff was good and stored bag for me.
Close to downtown, but kind of an awkward location. Not super busy lobby, smaller side and separated. Room was smaller, but enough space for everything. Small free standing closet was not the greatest for hanging clothes, but can't complain. Rooms were clean, quiet, and service was helpful. Didn't check out the amenities, but didn't seem like there were a ton.
I recently stayed at the Joinery Hotel in Pittsburgh and was disappointed with the way a parking damage claim was handled. While the hotel itself was clean and the staff at check-in were courteous, my experience after reporting vehicle damage was extremely frustrating.
After speaking with hotel management and the valet company, I was told the claim would be expedited. However, the claim was denied shortly afterward, and repeated requests for supporting evidence, including surveillance footage and documentation showing the condition of my vehicle upon arrival and departure, have gone unanswered.
The most disappointing aspect of this experience has been the complete lack of communication. It has now been three weeks since the incident, and despite numerous phone calls, voicemails, and emails requesting a response, neither the hotel nor the parties involved have provided any meaningful follow-up. I have specifically requested footage and documentation supporting the denial of my claim, as well as evidence showing the vehicle entering and leaving the valet line, particularly given the presence of yellow bollards surrounding the front entrance area.
Even if a claim is ultimately denied, guests deserve timely communication, transparency, and a clear explanation supported by evidence. Instead, I have been left without answers and without the courtesy of returned phone calls or emails.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. The lack of accountability and customer service after a problem arises is unacceptable. I hope management reviews its claims-handling process and communication standards so future guests do not experience the same frustration.
Too many hidden charges and the bed was uncomfortable.
It was clean and in a good location to where we needed to go
The room size is sooo small. The price for valet parking was pricey.
I loved my stay at the Joinery! The rooftop terrace had some awesome views. I ate breakfast at the hotel, and the waitress was very attentive and friendly. The bartender was cool as well. Definitely on my return list.
Breakfast staff friendly and professional. Bed comfy.
No where near worth the cost. Double what it should be for the quality. Aircon ridiculously noisy. Shower gel empty for three days. Room not serviced by 3pm one day .
Make sure you check the rooftop, it's amazing!
Only came ov winter, sad the chutes weren't open
I booked my reservation thru a 3rd party and somehow it was booked for 2027, which resulted in me being charged for 2 nights when it was only one. I spoke with a very friendly representative her name is Precious she was very helpful and explained to me what had happened. I was able to get this resolved quickly with her assistance. Best customer service I’ve had in awhile.
Very clean, great service, good location!
Expensive but an amazing stay!
