We arrived super late with a 9 year old after a huge family wedding. On arrival the outside area was incredibly busy, but wow what a welcome! The patrons of the pub made sure we weren't standing around for a split second, they even carried our cases up to our room for us 😊 the young lady in the bar was very efficient and pleasant in getting us into our room for the night too. Thanks again to you all for all the assistance, we all must have looked completely haggard. Our room was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable with lovely fresh sheets. Even though the pub was absolutely stowed, we didnt hear much noise at all. what a beautiful family run place where all visitor and locals alike are made to feel like they belong 🥰 Breakfast was cooked fresh and any changes we asked for were no problem at all. The owner made such an effort to ensure everyone was comfortable and happy 😊 can't recommend this little gem enough 🫶
The only problem we experienced was the carpark area at the back was incredibly dark when we arrived and both our phones were dead after a busy day, however it was incredibly late when we got there. 🙃

The only drawback was the music from the bar next door. It was extremely loud. However when asked the owner had the music turned down and it stopped at 12am. It could have bee only Room 10 where this music was heard
The full Scottish vibe locals were amazing and friendly the shops were excellent master butcher omg the quality second to non. Would highly recommend.
Not many places to eat. Had to travel to the next village.

Well..noise from the bar till late evening, the room was very old and very worn.the shower was very small and really needs updating.the toilet was like in a cupboard and the light was constantly flickering on and off like in a torture room. The kettle was dirty and sticky.the sink was in the room next to my bed.we will never go back!
2 bar staff that we met were lovely....and the exit from the car park.
Room 3 .....where do I even begin.
Let's put it this way for a 3 star hotel I would sooner wild camp and sh!t in a forest.

The room was a disgrace black mould all around the rotten window couldn't use the bathroom because it was covered in black mould on the ceiling and walls had to put the kettle on the floor to plug it in to use I only wish I had taken photos the lounge carpets were filthy the hotel needs a lot of work doing to it not happy having to stay in a room covered in mould we couldn't change the room because I booked through booking.com this is what I was told by the lady on reception
Room very date needed redocoarating booked said there was a restaurant but there was not but food in atea was very very good and beside hotel. Our room looked onto the bigger pub and was noisy with people drinking and shouting but the staff were exceptionaly friendly and the locals in small bar was fab

This is a family run budget hotel and as such is good value for money. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing.
It is a budget hotel so much of the decor is tired but it is very good value for money.
The staff were fantastic and very freindly , local people who went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable
General condition of the hotel was very dated and in need of investment,generaly in poor condition
