Great location, helpful staff, very clean and beautiful rooms, awesome view, even better food! Would definitely recommend! With minor (very minor) improvements - easily a 4-star.
This is not a “deal-breaker”, or anything that would carry the experience to a negative side by any means, but just a couple of improvements would make this a true best-possible experience:
- additional amenities missing - standard hotel ones (slippers, body lotion, shampoo, q-tips, etc.)
- slightly more wiggle-room for checkout - very strict checkout policy at 11:00, while breakfast ends at 11:00. Usually, hotels are fine with a bit of wiggle room for checkout (11:15-30 for this example) so the guests do not have to rush for breakfast.
I know this is a bit on the “spoiled” side, but this hotel definitely needs a 4-star, to raise the prices and offer these improvements and I will always come back!

We enjoyed being directly opposite a small beach - it was especially lovely to watch the children playing and cooling off in the sea with their friends. Being able to swim in crystle clear water each day was great. Our room had a deck which was a very pleasant place to sit in the cool of the evening.
All staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was very good and it was especially nice to be able to sit outside to eat. The upper restaurant deck was a lovely place for an evening meal - the food and service was excellent.

Beautiful location on the Adriatic and beautiful views from our rooms. Also, the receptionist was just wonderful and very thoughtful to pack us a goody box when we had to leave before breakfast to catch our flights.
The hotel may need to be modernized. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained but very dated. Also the beds were a little oddly made up. My feet were sticking out when I got into bed.
It is difficult to describe Hotel Stacija with enough superlatives, because everything about our stay was simply outstanding.
The breakfast deserves a special mention. Although the selection may look familiar at first glance, the quality, freshness and attention to detail make it stand far above many other hotels we have visited. The shakshuka was absolutely fantastic – probably the best in Dalmatia.
The location is beautiful, with a small beach right in front of the hotel, and the large, easily accessible parking area makes everything very convenient.
However, what truly makes this hotel special is the people. The staff are exceptional – warm, professional and incredibly attentive. They understand their guests immediately, remember you, address you by name and create a feeling that is becoming very rare in hospitality.
In one word: phenomenal.
A hotel with a heart, a wonderful team and an experience that fully deserves a perfect score. I will definitely be happy to return.
