Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for four days and enjoyed our stay. During our trip, we also visited Berat, which we would definitely recommend.
What we appreciated most was the staff and the owners. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They organised a tour for us and gave us great tips about what to see and do.
Breakfast was good, and we even got to try some freshly made pomegranate juice. Our kids loved watching the parrots and were very excited when they got the chance to feed them. The hotel is very family-friendly, and children are genuinely welcomed and treated with kindness.
We also really appreciated having a bar at reception. Once the kids were asleep, we could still sit nearby and enjoy a drink, which was perfect for us.
The location is great, very close to a large park where you can walk or go for a run. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many older people doing their morning exercises there. Despite the protests happening in the city centre during our stay, we felt very safe in this area.
The views from the higher floors are amazing. Because we booked at very short notice, we couldn't choose one of those rooms, but I can imagine the view from them must be fantastic.
A big thank you to Eduard, Robert and Doni (I hope I spelled the names correctly 🙂) for making us feel so welcome.
We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially to families. We hope to visit Albania again and have more time to explore the rest of this beautiful country!

Cons:

There are a few small things to be aware of. Some of the furniture is a little dated, the baby bed wasn’t fully functioning, and we had two single beds instead of one large bed. There are also limited facilities. None of this was a major issue for us, but it may be useful for future guests to know.

Experience true Albanian hospitality at this fantastic hotel
Pros:

This is a family run business that treats its guests as family. Dony and his brothers will welcome you with open arms and you will feel at home. The hotel is just next door to a beautiful park and easy walking to local attractions. Dony will answer any questions to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back.

- pushy owner. In our opinion a bit too interested in us and our 5star review. He also let some 13 year old kids work in the restaurant and constantly scolded them.

Pros:

The location, the bed was comfy and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was also good.

Cons:

The cleanliness, the room was not cleaned properly on arrival, hair from previous people still over floor, amenities weren’t restocked including toilet paper. Towels were always damp, even after asking for fresh, they were still damp. For a 4 star, the cleanliness was disappointing
