Breakfast satisfactory, only saving grace
We dropped bags to the room and then met family so arrived back at around 11 pm, on entry to the room noted several adult fleas on the bed and larvae noted on the bed sheets. We made the best of it at the time as we didn’t really know what to do. Discreetly informed morning staff of our concerns and dreadful night. We had to email team as they were unable to deal with the concern at the time. Management advised us that it was not fleas or larvae as they had it checked so just bugs from outside as their housekeeping had left the windows open whilst servicing the room. The window was shut on our arrival and no bugs noted prior to leaving to meet family. I have owned animals over the years and am aware what a flea looks like also unsure how larvae (video taken by husband) would be able to make it through a window. Unsatisfactory answer completely dismissing our concerns.

Great location, good price, very comfortable
Walls were paper thin, was woken up due to neighbouring room walking loudly and could even hear a bag rustling. Also floor boards in room very squeaky and loud. Shower was good apart from flooded bathroom each time it was used
Staff were great, food quite good though expensive.
Booked superior king size bedroom..didn’t feel this was great value for money..took literally 5 mins for hot water to come through shower..mould by window which didn’t shut properly..toilet roll holder upside down so roll kept falling off .

Restaurant not great in the evening. Poor communication and late delivery of food.
Rooms were dated, damaged bath panel, TV randomly turned on at all hours of day and night
When we arrived there was more than ample parking.
Upon checking in, we were warmly greeted by a very pleasant young lady, who very efficiently checked us in, and directed us to our rooms.
The restaurant food was really good and excellent value for money, the service was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was also very good, and again value for money, and the lady that served us was delightful, as were all the staff.
The rooms were spotless, the bed comfortable, and very quiet, that made for a really good night's sleep.

Fantastic staff. Warm and welcoming upon arrival as well as the staff at breakfast and dinner. I especially call out Sophia who was working the Reception desk as well as the restaurant plus the incredibly talented Aaliyah - amazing henna designs. She should offer her services for wedding parties.
Glad I stated a second night as the pizza meal on the first night was disappointing, but the fish pie was delicious - lots of seafood and great lobster sauce.
On a motorcycle, so always good to have a decent fan for airing out clothes. The vertical floor fan was pretty average and not much use - a taller, circular floor fan would be better.
On pizza night, the pizza base was pretty average, as well as the pizza topping. Could do with some more herbs in the tomatoe sauce to give it some more flavour. Barbecue chicken topping was ok.
The property is lovely with outdoor pool. All areas like the restaurant bar and events areas amamzing atmosphere.

Brilliant location ,large room
I was in a room I assumed was quiet modern upon booking but found it quiet dated !! I was extremely cold all night as the room was very very cold and radiators didn’t seem to work ! The bed was huge but not as comfy as it looked
Mattress on bed (Room 12) needs replacing.
Great location for us, quiet & staff very friendly. Room large & comfortable, food was good.
The breakfast was delicious, although only filter coffee, no cappuccino etc. They brought it out quickly, it was lovely, hot and of good quality.
The bathroom was nicely decorated, ignoring the loo seat that was much smaller than the loo and the lack of a bath mat or bath towel.
The stench of air freshener was too much. It was over powering. I don't know if there had been an accident that someone was trying to cover up but it was dreadful. The bed was two singles pulled together, the join in the bed and duvet was very obvious and uncomfortable and the mattress needed replacing some years ago, quite lumpy. The bedroom was a great size but poorly decorated and all the furniture was bashed and in need of a refurb.
