Location, atmosphere, and room was great. We really enjoyed the hotel. The only I would have liked better is if the laundry facilities were free.
What a wonderful stay we had. From the moment we checked in we were treated with the kindest and friendliest hospitality. Caroline, Abigail, and Megan at the front desk went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay and accommodate us when we had to make some unexpected changes in our itinerary. The breakfast was excellent, and Bruce did a great job making sure we had everything we needed.
All in all, this was the finest service we have ever received at any hotel.
This is a standout property for cleanliness, breakfast and customer service. The location cannot be beat - right next to UTC and can walk to Publix and First Watch. Abigail and Carolina are AMAZING for customer service - 4 Seasons level. I regularly stay here for a personal vacation and book friends and family here multiple times per year.
Pool, breakfast, cleanliness and comfort were top notch. Our only concern was the spotty cell phone service in certain areas of the premises.
Mobile connectivity.
Loved the daily flavored waters and cookies.
From the moment I walked in until the moment I checked out, I was very impressed with this hotel. I usually scope out the cleanliness around the front desk while being checked in because if they can't get that right, it's pretty much down hill from there. In fact, the entire hotel gets an "A" on cleanliness from the pool area to the spacious rooms that include complementary snacks and bottled water. The other area that absolutely impressed me was the atmosphere created by every employee I met during my stay (Tim and Caroline at the Front Desk, Marie and Suzanne in the Restaurant and Bar) to name a few. I asked why every employee was in such a great mood and I was told "We work for a great General Manager (Serena) and a great company"!
Also, getting in and out of the hotel was easy and there was plenty of shopping and restaurants in the area. There are a few other hotels close by, but I highly recommend the Hyatt Place/Lakewood Ranch.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly Tim checked us in he was very professional and friendly we had never stayed here before so he explained where everything was and was very helpful answering my questions.. Caroline checked us out and was very professional and friendly asked us if our stay was wonderful and it was...also housekeeping was spot on with replacing towels and cleaning our room ..we stay for 3 nights .we will definitely stay again..
We stayed at this hotel in May during our time in town for the Florida Junior Cup Soccer Tournament. The hotel was very nice. The room was very clean.
Our check-in process, in particular, was outstanding. Tim met us at the front desk on Friday night and was over-the-top nice. The staff during the day was equally as nice and accommodating. Whenever we had a request, somebody did their best to try to meet it.
We stayed in room 521, which was an oversized room with two beds and a couch that pulled out into another bed. Plenty of space for four of us. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Bruce, the in-house chef, goes out of his way to try to accommodate everybody.
We would absolutely stay here again on another trip to Lakewood Ranch. You can't go wrong.
I will not be staying at this location for future conferences in the area. About 30 of my coworkers and I stayed 3 days/3 nights at this location and ALL of us didn't have any hot water the entire stay - We were lucky if the water was borderline lukewarm, but if you tried to shower at a busy time like I did the first morning of my stay (around 6 a.m.), the water temperature didn't even reach lukewarm. Terrible start to my morning.
Then, on the last night of our stay, I was abruptly woken up from my sleep at 2:30 a.m. to the fire alarm going off. The hotel evacuated and stood outside for about 30 minutes while the fire department came. We were cleared to go back inside. Then, just as I was starting to fall back asleep, the fire alarm went off AGAIN at 3:30 a.m., and again, we evacuated and waiting outside for 20ish minutes. This time, we were told it was an electrical issue that was causing the alarm to go off. The alarm went off TWO. MORE. TIMES. at 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m... Essentially, no one was able to get any sleep, and during my check-out the next morning, the staff did not even acknowledge the situation or apologize for how absolutely inconvenient this was. I can understand that electrical issues happen, but that coupled with no hot water all week was completely unacceptable. Do better Hyatt Place. You've lost many customers from this experience.
No hot water, mold in my room, fire alarm went off 5 times in one night due to a faulty sensor! It was one of the worst stay in my adult life! Staff was very nice but that is the only positive aspect of this hotel!
Friendly receptionist upon arrival, large room, wonderful breakfast!
From front desk to all staff members! Exceptional service and excellent hospitality! Accommodating above and beyond expectations! Traveled with my service dog and they greeted her with water and a treat bag!!
Service was excellent. The staff aim high.
WiFi could be better
We had a nice stay, staff were nice and pleasant, breakfast was very nice. I have stayed there in the past and would stay there again.
Very clean, and a warm environment.
Great location for day trips to Siesta Key and Anna Maria Island. Close to SRQ and TPA airports. Best free breakfast ever. Friendly staff. Many restaurants and stores within 5 minute drive.
It was a hotel run when I needed one.
It was a bit pricey, but that is the area.
