Nice refurb, staff lovely, food good although breakfast is a bit pricey for what it is. Wouldn’t have avocado and poached eggs again which I usually love. Chefs tip: go easy on the chilli oil next time, once it’s in you can’t scrape it off, it was smothered and couldn’t taste the food! Fish and chips was delicious!
Nothing apart from breakfast being disappointing as per above
Location was excellent, sea view from bedroom was great plus hotel was clean as were daily cleaning of bedroom, bed was very comfortable along with linen and towels, liked the shutters on windows.
Waiting over half an hour first morning for a staff member to take order, then i had to actually get up and find someone to place our order when it did arrive it was wrong. Big crack in washbasin in ensuite, water from shower was not a constant temperature, should install shower cubicles and get rid of the bath,no lift, evening menu wasn't appetising. Parking out the front was appalling, plus had to move the car for an event at hotel, had to find a car park, where it was expensive.
The room was a family size room with a double and single bed and l was a single occupant.
The view when you walk out the door
Lovely room, excellent food, staff friendly and polite, beautiful across The Wash. When we arived we found we were on the 2nd floor. Due to disability I couldn't do that. No problem! Reception showed us another room on the ground floor which was obviously of a better standard and gave us that room at the same price.
Paying for parking.
Parking
Room was large, bed was nice. Very modern and decorated nicely. Large TV
Only one window attached to the door, got very hot on a day that was around 20degrees.
No curtain or blind to stop light coming through in the morning.
No breakfast or parking included in price of 220 - overpriced.
The Hotel, really you couldn't fault, brilliant location and really nice staff. I have only a couple of niggles, the car park outside the hotel isn't owned by them and it's full all the time as it's free to anybody, they have a residents car park but Charged at £8 a day.
My room was clean and a very nice bed and pillows, the only but, is my room number 22 top floor, lovely view of the sea has a tiny TV and it's impossible to see any description of TV channels. I mentioned to the staff when leaving and they said that particular room is to be updated. All in a very nice place and had a great night's rest. Happy!
As mentioned, TV is too small and parking facilities are not included in the cost of your stay.
Location good, overlooking the sea. Staff fine. Lovely garden with tables. Right in the centre of town.
We had a sea view room (23) and were disappointed. It did have a sea view, but the room was VERY small, and we had to move the armchair into the bathroom so we could get round the bed! But the main problem was the window. This was on one of the hottest days of the year, and the room was facing the sun. The windows were locked and could only be opened 3 inches, so we couldn’t get a breeze. The hotel quoted ‘health and safety’ reasons and could do anything about it. So we had a fan going full blast all night, simply blowing hot air around the room. Maybe not their fault, but nevertheless not a nice experience.
Food was good, loved the location, staff always so pleasant and helpful. Rooms lovely clean and good facilities.
Nothing to dislike

The shower in the room was excellent but my only concern was there was no body wash just shampoo and conditioner attached to the shower wall. The body.wash was at the sink some 10ft away.
Other than that everything in the room was very good.
The room was OK although it was probably meant for single occupancy
Room was small for two people
Location is very central and ideal for walking to all attractions nearby. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel bar and restaurant were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean.
ALL OK
PARKING CHARGE
Bathroom was great!
View was good too!
Comfy bed
Fan and hairdryer - great!
Fridge far too small for anything!
Wardrobe and chest were dated and well used!
