Pros:

On arrival to the Golden Lion i needed to change rooms due to mobility issues affecting one of our party. Giles was incredibly accommodating and took the time to show us a perfect room that suited our needs. His excellent customer service made a real difference to our stay. We would therefore happily return

Just too expensive for what it is only stayed for two nights

Modern hotel, very clean.
Fantastic decor

Cons:

Despite paying one hundred and seventy five pounds for 1 night, there was no allocated, parking, apparently you have to book prior to arrival of which I was not made aware of
Had a very spacious room.However the television was the size of a small computer
Not what you'd expect for the price
The bar and restaurant area has fabulous decor, but the prices reflect the decor
Lunchtime bar snacks very expensive

Pros:

The room was spotlessly clean when we arrived and maintained the same high standard throughout our stay.

Cons:

We booked the room through Booking,com. This was a mistake; booking directly with the hotel would have got us a much better deal.
The room was small and at the very top of the building. While it did have the advertised sea view, this was through a small window that did not open.
It was only a double bed and the mattress needs replacing.

Loved the stay, would use the Hotel again
Pros:

We knew the Hotel although never stayed before. We loved the location and found the stay very enjoyable. We did not pre book breakfast as we are not big eaters so chose to purchase breakfast on a daily basis and found this more acceptable. Evening Meal prices were a bit expensive for us, but their were lots of options for eating out locally.

Mooi ouderwets hotel in de goede zin des woords.
Pros:

Prachtige ligging!! Mevrouw aan de receptie erg vriendelijk.

Cons:

Ik vond het erg gehorig. Of de mensen in de kamer onder mij waren erg doof, of het kwam door de slechte isolatie maar tot minstens 11 uur heb ik mee moeten luisteren naar een tv die aanstond.

3 days were most enjoyable, good bus service for Kings Lynn, coastliner bus for Wells was an enjoyable ride.
Pros:

Lovely room, huge walk in shower. The location is perfect, enjoyed the sun lounge.

Ok to stay there for the night but not to have the breakfast.
Pros:

The room no25 was fine. I had booked a sea view so expected this, it was however on the top floor with no lift available.
The receptionist did offer to take our case upstairs. We had a rucksack and said thank you but we would manage.

The conservatory lounge was lovely. Had drinks in there in the evening and then took an unfinished one up to our room.

Cons:

Breakfast. We ordered this when we arrived in the evening. The orange drink was very weak. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast. Very difficult to cut the toast and the eggs were very loose. My husband had the full English but this was not brilliant. The toast after, some was very black and again very hard to cut. Not really an acceptable breakfast for a high charge of £36.00 for two people!
