It's generally clean and the staffs were welcoming.
The space is very small, infact too small for the price, bathroom felt like a prison, you can't move your arms freely if you are tall or big without hitting on the door handle or something in the bathroom, the bathroom is ridiculously and surprisingly basic for a London Hotel, with some ridiculous herbal soap in the bathroom, nil hair dryer, nil mirror for shaving or sockets for shaving clippers,nil bathroom shelf to put your sponge or soap . It felt like the bathroom was built in the 80s. The bathroom drainage is poor, the flow of water from the shower was poor as well, you wouldn't be able to increase the flow..
The location
When booking said they served breakfast. However the restaurant at the hotel isn’t open and hasn’t been for years.
Also the family rooms don’t have a fridge, only the double rooms have a fridge.
Having a child and needing to give the milk was a nightmare with no fridge. Kept having to buy milk every day as it kept going off with the warm weather
Rooms were ok
So we booked a large double room or twin room on arrival check in was very slow. They gave us a small double room when I asked this is not what we booked they said that’s all they had . Then I asked if they had any other rooms was told they had family room which would cost us £104 to upgrade for the night . They were not accommodating whatsoever my son-in-law payed for the upgrade room .It was the same room we booked but just extra bed.very disappointed with the service. Said they would give us a twin room next day as we booked for 2 nights.
My overall experience was that they were not understanding at all. Would like booking .Com to look into this and see if we can get some type of refund from our stay.

The air conditioning was wonderful. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was close to good transport links.

The room was very comfortable, and had aircon. Good location for Tooting Broadway and only 10 minutes from Wimbledon
The bathroom wasn't particularly clean, the shower was grimy round the sides and the shower door was broken. There were no hand towels
