Not a good experience
Pros:

The hotel is in a good area, the pool is nice

Cons:

The apartment we booked was not looking like in the pictures, it’s really run down. The ac was leaking a lot, the kitchen cabinets nearly fell apart and there was no Gas to even use it. The whole furniture looked very used, including the curtains, bedsheets and towels. But the thing that ruined our stay the most was an incident with the host: as my partner left for work, the host texted me about a free massage he wants to offer. I didn’t think much of it, but as my partner came back from work he was furious because it’s a tourist trap that is very common in Sri Lanka. They offer a free massage either to just see you naked or to scam you and ask for money for the products that where used or whatever. As we didn’t find any other review talking about a free massage, we were very suspicious and it made us feel uncomfortable in the hotel for the rest of the stay.

Cisza, spokój, miły i pomocny personel. Dostaliśmy zimny napój na przywitanie co było miłym akcentem ☺️

Cons:

Na 1 piętrze w naszym pokoju był karaluch, a karaluchy na wysokości nie wróżą niczego dobrego dla reszty obiektu. Sugeruje im to sprawdzić skąd się wzięły.

A great stopover with nice people in a good location.
Pros:

Very nice owner, or rather very nice family. We felt very well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Thank you for everything! And the best thing was that the accommodation was very centrally located. Breakfast was also good.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our bathroom had no window and no ventilation, which is why it smelled a bit unpleasant. However, that was also the first room in the accommodation. Our daughters' room on the first floor was great – and the bathroom there was also fantastic.

Cons:

I had booked the room on either the 19th or 20th of July for a stay on the 8th and 9th of August. However, just three days before my check-in date, the motel informed me that the room was unavailable because it had been reserved for a longer stay. They claimed this was due to a “system update error,” which allowed my booking to go through. They offered me another room, but I told them to cancel my reservation — and they still haven’t replied. Very poor customer service.
