Le lieu est plein de charme, et on sent une belle ambiance dès qu'on y arrive. Les gens s'y retrouvent en famille, entre amis. Le personnel est très sympa, accueillant, aidant et impliqué dans la relation avec les clients. Même si les couloirs et les chambres sont vieillottes , le lieu a du charme et la propreté des chambres est irréprochable. La douche a une taille confortable et elle fonctionne très bien
Un ventilateur climatiseur était également à disposition.
Le bruit des installations extérieures et le manque d'isolation phonique. Mais c'est acceptable, au vu de tout le reste, le rapport qualité-prix est très bon en plein centre ville.
Prévoir d'accéder aux chambres par des escaliers.
Pub/hotels are in my experience always average at best and that's what I expected, how wrong I was.
This place was truly magnificent, the staff from the first interaction were friendly, efficient, and welcoming, then the room itself was exceptionally spacious, huge bathroom and spotlessly clean, it was totally modern yet comfortable, the bed was one of the best I've slept in and the whole experience just blew the usual hotels/big chains that I always gravitate to totally out the water, the next time I'm staying in Swindon this will without question be my first choice.
I seem to spend half my life in hotels travelling and I can geneuinely say this place is absolutely the place to stay.

No complaints at all
The base of the fan was broken. The coffee machine was not working. The toilet seat was not fixed down which caused sitting down uncomfortable. The room was not hoovered properly as found food crumbs from previous residents. But as i was there for only 2 nights i did not complain. I expected better for the price i paid. While checking in a member of staff had to keep asking another member what to do. After a long journey i didnt need this.

Extremely noisy at night. Yes its a pub, but even 4 in the morning there was still crying, screeching, police sirens and lights.
We ahd a fan, but our friends never, and thier room was unbearable
I like this venue. It is usually fine.
Umfortunately we hit the middle of the heatwave making the bedroom hot and humid. Anywhere without air con would have had the same problem.
I will still go back.
It is a fantastic location and well situated for bus services to Avebury and Devizes, while a short walk to the station and town centre. Lots of great pubs nearby!

Room was clean and comfortable and it was very quiet. The main reason for our scores though was that every member of staff was happy, friendly and helpful - they made it an absolute pleasure to stay there
Room was hot but it was the hottest day on record so not really their fault!
The rooms are above pup which is loud and busy until late. There is no air condition so if it's warm you have to open the windows but as there is a massive amount of drunk people in the gardens you will not find relaxing time in your room with fresh air.
In the corridor and room there was a faint smell of beer.
Do use it if you want to get drunk and sleep somewhere close after.
We liked the staff, location, TV screens. Also the price.

A friend organised and booked a room for a party back in January (5month ago) on the night when we arrived they had double booked and didn’t tell us about it. So we had to go elsewhere. Disappointed.
Good helpful, friendly staff, reasonably priced food menu. Bedroom clear and comfortable
Areas of the hotel are in need of some TLC, window in the room was very poor and en-suite had loose tiles and areas needing repair.

Leider dauert die Bestellung des Frühstücks länger, da es frisch zubereitet wird. Wenn man jedoch ein frühes Meeting hat, wird es nicht eng. Man sollte zwischen 20-30 Minuten einplanen bis da Frühstück am Platz ist.
Came here a couple of times whilst in Swindon as it looked ok inside and had plenty of customers.
Great service from all the bar staff we encountered.
Food is ok, but nothing special. I had katsu hash browns as there wasn’t much in the way of gluten free options. The hash browns were quite soggy, and there wasn’t much sauce, so I assume they were microwaved.
There wasn’t much a football match on one evening and the place was packed with people watching on the big screens. The bar staff amazingly kept up with orders throughout the night.
The location was perfect. Our room was lovely a big comfortable bed, everything was clean. We had our dog with us and the staff always made a fuss of him. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was made to order so we knew it was fresh. We would definitely stay here again.
There was nothing to not like.
