Well located comfortable pub hotel.
Pros:

We have stayed here many times but our first time in Room 1 which is the largest room. Well worth paying a little extra for. Spacious room and bathroom with a large wardrobe in entrance room between. Bed was extremely comfortable. Goddard Arms is ideally located for numerous restaurants and The Lawns for a nice walk.

Cons:

No issues - floorboards very creaky but it is a very old property!

Ruime kamer, prima ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel, nette badkamer, lekker diner.

Cons:

Heel laag plafond, veel lawaai buiten aan de voorkant (zaterdag- op zondagnacht), tot diep in de nacht. Erg ongelijke, krakende vloeren en plafonds, wat ook wel weer zijn charme heeft in zo'n oud gebouw. Wat karige hoeveelheden bij het diner.

We would recommend people to stay here. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
Pros:

We really liked the Goddard arms. It was a very relaxed feeling at the pub, meals were terrific. We couldn’t fault the pub, star, the location. It was terrific.

prima plek voor overnachten met alles wat je nodig hebt
Pros:

prima parkeervoorziening, gezellige pub beneden met goed eten, uitgebreid ontbijt en zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel

Cons:

Bedden zijn wat kort voor iemand van 2 meter, veel geluid van buiten door verkeer of afzuig installatie

Not very good but I am not blaming the staff, they were lovely.
Pros:

The staff are very friendly and helpful but this hotel has seen better days. My room was tiny and backed onto a noisy air conditioning pipe and the need to have security staff on the door says it all. Shouting and fighting going on outside till the early hours. Not somewhere I would want to go to again but it seems very popular with the locals.

Cons:

Very hot and sticky inside, thank goodness there was an outside area to escape to for some fresh air.
