Cons:

Nice but not a luxury hotel
Pros:

Much space, fireplace, soaking tub, convenient usb ports, restaurant. Restaurant was a big attraction. Screen door to balcony was nice.

Cons:

Pet peeve: places that leave two bottles of water in room but expect you to pay for them. At classier places they are usually complimentary. Also pools and sauna seemed like part of the hotel, so much so that we stopped to buy bathing suits on the way after making last minute reservations. In fact it's $70 (!) per person to use the pool. Which seemed pretty crowded when we took a peek. Our new car got "doored" in the parking lot...spaces are very narrow. Staff wasn't very welcoming and failed to relay our dinner reservations to the restaurant. Also many high tech buttons for lights, draperies, etc. An introduction would've been helpful or at least instruction cards. An option for breakfast as part of the package would've gone a long way.

We would definitely come back
Pros:

The location is perfect, the view is amazing, very spacious room with very comfortable bed. The staff is friendly, the food in Le Greg Bistro and Bar is excellent. We had an amazing stay.

Cons:

Nous avions une chambre accessible pour fauteuil roulant. La douche était bien adaptée , sauf qu’il n’y avait pas de bain de douche. Quant à la toilette, l’accès est un peu trop exigu .

Nous avons séjourné à La Cache du Lac Champlain du 5 au 7 juin et, globalement, l’expérience a été très agréable. L’emplacement est magnifique, les chambres sont spacieuses, luxueuses et très confortables, et le restaurant Le Greg Bistro & Bar mérite également une mention spéciale pour la qualité de sa cuisine et la courtoisie du service.

Tous les ingrédients étaient réunis pour une note parfaite. Malheureusement, deux éléments ont terni l’expérience.

D’abord, en fin d’après-midi le lendemain de notre arrivée, constatant que notre chambre n’avait toujours pas été entretenue, je me suis informé à la réception. On m’a alors indiqué qu’il n’y avait pas de service de chambre après la première nuit. Cette information ne nous avait pas été communiquée à l’arrivée. Lorsque j’ai demandé un renouvellement des serviettes et du café, on m’a simplement proposé de venir les récupérer moi-même à la réception. Pour un établissement de cette catégorie et à ce niveau de prix, nous nous attendions à un peu plus de service.

Ensuite, le courriel de confirmation indiquait clairement une heure de départ à midi. Pourtant, nos amies occupant la chambre voisine ont reçu un appel à 11 h 45 leur demandant de quitter, en leur mentionnant que l’heure de départ était 11 h. De notre côté, nous n’étions pas à la chambre à ce moment-là et avons découvert que nos cartes avaient simplement été désactivées. Cette façon de gérer la situation nous a semblé maladroite.
