Great place for a short break in lovely countryside.
Pros:

We had a very enjoyable four night stay in this very comfortable hotel. The breakfast and evening meals were extremely good and the staff were very pleasant and efficient. It was an added bonus to see the racehorses trotting past the dining room window each morning as we had breakfast! The village is a great starting point for a number of lovely walks.

Lovely clean hotel with excellent facilities. Lovely bar area. Lovely staff.
Pros:

The breakfast was good, but personally I prefer a buffet style for the continental part to choose my own fruit etc.

Cons:

We both like middle cut bacon and not streaky, but that is probably being a bit picky. It was cooked better on our second morning.

Friendly staff
Pros:

Lovely staff. Bed a little too soft but that is only personal preference. Husband really enjoyed the breakfast.

Good value for money,excellent staff, clean room
Pros:

Location was really good central and close to where I wanted to be.
Staff were excellent extremely pleasant and accommodating.Room was clean and had everything I required.Comfortable bed.

Cons:

More choice for continental breakfast ie crossiants, more selection of breads.

Pros:

Room was small but ok . The shower head would not tighten and was just hanging there . The water took an age to drain from the shower tray as the drain was blocked , this made the room smell . Breakfast was nice but i could have eaten it again . Prices in the restaurant were too expensive for my budget so i had to eat out .

The drain cleared in the shower tray.

Good base for Dales .
Pros:

Good location for exploring Dales with very friendly staff and breakfast cooked to order . Didn't eat at night but food looked good .

Cons:

Parking can be a bit troublesome depending on arrival time and rooms a bit noisy but it is a very old building .

Pros:

It was cute and cosy and in a lovely little village. It was nice and clean.

Cons:

The beds were comfortable but noisy when you moved we kept waking each other up. We were woken up at 5am from someone outside our window moving bins - I think it was bin collection day.
